Story
Benny is 2.8 yrs old. He is a husky, German shepherd, Australian shepherd mix. So lots of energy and very headstrong. He is a very active, full of energy dog. Loves to run, play & constantly be with his person or people. Very loving and protective of his people. However, he doesn’t do well with new people. Fiercely protects his property. Growls and hates new people in his space. Must be allowed to approach you when he’s ready & once you’re accepted he’s your best friend. Does well with kids and loves other dogs at the dog park. Very full of energy. Never tires! Know commands come, sit, drop it, leave it. Whether he chooses to respect those commands depends on what mood he’s in. Really a good dog for someone single or a couple as he loves all the attention. Only rehoming him because we have an unexpected move and he can’t come with us. Experienced handler is a must!

Story
Malamutesky or Huskamute? Meet Kaya! This sweet, silly girl is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. Her new family will be so lucky to have her. :) Kaya is, in her owner's words, "snuggly, playful, high-energy, beautiful, and very loving." She has a quirky, fun-loving, opinion-expressing temperament, and if you are a fan of huskies, malamutes, and similar breeds, you will absolutely melt when you meet her. Kaya is said to be all husky (the "wooly" variety), but those of us who've loved a malamute will recognize a goodly dose of malamute-itude here. :) This adventurous girl will do best in a home with a yard that has a secure physical fence; six feet tall would be best because she is most definitely an escape artist. Kaya has not lived with other pets or kids, but when she sees dogs or people, she behaves in a playful, friendly, sometimes excited way. She is housetrained and does not need to be crated (and would prefer not to be) -- she just needs a little time to settle into a new home before being left alone for an extended period of time, and then she should do fine. This gorgeous creature is about 4.5 years old. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She is overall healthy. Her only possible health issue is urinary crystals. We are working with Kaya's foster and our vet to determine whether she needs to be on an Rx food or would do fine with a good-quality (but non-Rx) food. Kaya is looking for a new home because her loving owner has had some ongoing medical issues that have made it impossible for him to care for his beloved pup. She found her way to a temporary foster care provider a few months ago with the goal of reuniting her with her "dad" soon. Now, however, it has become apparent that her dad is going to need a much longer recovery than originally anticipated and he has determined that it is in Kaya's best interest to find a wonderful new person/family who will love her and care for her for the rest of her life. We (FFOCAS) are helping Kaya's owner rehome her safely. Interested? Please get in touch via adoptapet or email: ffocas4pets@gmail.com. We'll ask you to fill out a rehoming application to help keep this process as safe as possible for all involved -- especially Kaya!

Story
Doc is a fun loving dog. His nickname is Grogu. He just wants to please anyone he is with. He has great leash manners and loves to play fetch. He carries his ball wherever he goes.He is on the smaller side so it makes him ideal for any home situation. He wiggles so hard he hits himself in the face. He is also one of the abandoned 11. He will crawl into your lap when you are sitting with him. He would fit into an active lifestyle or one that is more Netflix and chill. He is microchipped, neutered, and fully vaccinated. Great things do come in small packages. ##2042792##
