HARTSVILLE, TENN.. - TRANSPORT AVAILABLE TO THE BEST HOME. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME. Call me/text at 610-787-2353 if you want to adopt and or foster. Or, email us for an application to foster/adopt at dawnleemcmahon@gmail.com PLEASE DO. NOT COMMENT BELOW IF INTERESTED. I WILL NOT SEE IT. Barkley, Barkley, a 3-4 year old male saint bernard POODLE (neutered/UTD) is adorable and has the sweetest puppy dog eyes, with a gentle paw when he wants a cookie. He's housebroken and so easy to walk on a leash. Spoke with owner. Long story. Owner is 76 years old and cannot handle all these dogs. Barkley lived with 3 giant saint doodle brothers. He is the only one that looks more saint. He has never seen a cat. Loves to play in yard. Great with all the other dogs at the rescue and foster farm. Was surrendered due to a hole in neighbor's fence. He got out and neighbor would not let them get him and called animal control. The neighbor will not fix the hole and will not let the owner fix it ("being its their fence and you better not touch it). Owner is her 70s and felt having 4 large breed dogs too much. Folks at the shelter speak of how very sweet and gentle he is - even when giving him a cookie. He lived with three giant St. poodles. Also, he is the only one that sheds and the grandon who lives with her is allergic. As mentioned, he is currently at the foster farm with 10 other dogs and NO issues... and barn cats - he doesnt bother with them either. Call me/text at 610-787-2353 if you want to adopt and or foster.

Story
Sassy boy Sailor, is a dog that came so close to losing his life in a small town shelter in Tennessee.   He was so upset in the shelter that he was showing a truly bad side of his personality because of his fear.  The best foster mom ever who knows about behavior altering, took him home and learned how to show him there was nothing to fear so much.  He is a vibrantly alive 1-2 yrs old, 46 pounds Husky/Lab mix boy that is just so very sweet, handsome, energetic, agile, affectionate, intelligent, amazingly clean, and funny dog.   Our suggestion on the best home for him would be one that is with a strong dog leader who has no young children (over 12 is fine) and no cats.  This boy loves to go for hikes, long distance or short walks, playing fetch and being chased by dogs that he considers his friend, food rewards, food puzzles, being taught things new and taking his toys on his walks.  This funny, silly and full of life boy is a one in a million miracle.  He was destined to be euthanized and only because of this wonderful young woman who “knows” how to reach a dog’s inner self and reassure them they have nothing to fear, and now Sailor is here to live and love and be your handsome best friend in life.  All he wants to do in life is please you and love you with all his heart.  We do have Sailor on an inexpensive calming tranquilizer that has made all the difference for him and we will along a supply for a while.  If you are interested in talking with us about Sailor joining your life, please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
My name is Bella Mia and as you can see, I am a beautiful golden girl that smiles and welcomes everyone I meet with an open heart of friendship.  I am a German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix that is obviously going to be large and just bigger to love.  They say I was born around February 11, 2023 and for sure I am still very much a puppy even though I weigh 76 pounds.  They whisper behind my back and say that “she is a very smart girl” and that makes me want to be even smarter.  I try to keep my sweet personality showing out there 24/7 even though I am competing for attention from my other large and in charge siblings.  I am learning things but my foster family is busy and they are just maintaining good care for me and my large siblings.  I have energy to burn and I need a fenced yard to run in and someone that will focus on teaching me.  I need a loving and training oriented family who loves to bring a dog from A to Z status.  I survived a very tough start in life and am one of 12 siblings.  Only six of us survived.  I like fun, lots of activity and the hustle and bustle of family.  I need a fenced yard that is 6 ft. tall and it would be best to have me with children who are over 8 years of age because of my large exuberant size.  I am a well-rounded girl that will make your home much more Fun and loving.  If you are interested in making me a part of your life, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 29, 2024, 9:05 pm

Story
Easy Ryder is like his name, an 'easy'  two year old German Shepherd boy that would love to join Peter Fonda on a motorcycle ride.  This boy loves to go, go, go and he's a ton of fun and a super  playful boy.  He is good with children, other dogs, but no cats unfortunately.  He’s a great car “rider”, loves his walks, and he loves hiking into the mountains.  He’s 70 pounds of all muscle, great health and good hips.  No issues whatsoever with health or dog habits and is UTD on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, HW prevention. He’s one healthy lover of a dog. Please contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.  He's in Tennessee but can transport north.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 29, 2024, 9:05 pm
