Story
Hi! My name is Violet, and I am looking for a home. I am about 9 years old, and they say I am a mini-Aussie husky mix. I know LOTS of tricks! I can spin, twirl on my hind legs, sit pretty, speak and even tell you "I love you". I am a good girl also, and will sit, down and roll over on command. I do have a sensitive stomach and need a grain free diet, (my favorite is, Fromm) and like all Texans, I have allergies. My foster says a shot of Apoquel will take care of all my itches. My foster says I am really sweet too, but I need to be an only child, or the only female and no small animals. However, I do like two legged children past the toddle stage. I love long hikes and running with my human while they ride a bike. Lastly, I am scared of thunderstorms and fireworks, but trazadone helps calm my fears. Story
This is Kiki, our gentle, shy shepherd mix. She is approximately 18 months old and weighs 71 lbs. She is very gentle and walks great on a leash. She does get nervous with sudden, unexpected noises, but with patience and lots of TLC, she would make a great family dog. Come see her at the Benbrook animal shelter located at 469 Winscott Rd., Benbrook, Texas. We are open Tuesday through Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM.
