Story
I'm a 4 year old spayed shiba inu with attitude. I'm crate trained and house broken. I know how to sit, stay and up to get on your lap. I'm also potty trained. I am not a big fan of other furry creatures and very weary of other people as well especially little children, but am very protective over my owners. Looking for a home that is able to help me open up and help me control my emotions better!

Story
Milo’s a 8yo 21lb Shiba Inu mix. He loves kids and ok with other dogs but seems to prefer them not around. He’s housebroken when kept on a schedule and crate trained. He’s good with a secure fenced in yard and going for harness leashed walks. He loves toys, people especially to cuddle with. He’s loving, loyal, happy and chill. He loves to run and play fetch in his fosters secure fenced in yard. Milo’s foster requires a home with a secure fenced in yard, active people along with giving leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Milo as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Milo’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Jenkintown, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org

Story
Sonny is a loving, loyal dog who has been part of our family for the past 7+ years, since we got him as an 8-week-old puppy. We are heartbroken to rehome him but want him to be in a home where his needs can be met. He has lived peacefully with a dachshund for most of his life and does well with other dogs. Sonny loves being outside, going on walks, playing fetch, and lots of attention and affection. He has a history of high anxiety, so he does best with calm, consistent routines and patient owners. Sonny is very reactive to our young baby, and despite our love for him, we are concerned about safety and stress for everyone in the home. We are not equipped to provide the level of training and behavior work needed to reliably and safely keep him around the baby. A home without babies and young children (under 5 years) would be the best fit for him. Sonny is such a sweet dog and we know the right person is out there who would be very lucky to have him!

Story
Bree is a 9 month old spayed female shiba inu who weighs 27 pounds. These cuties were rescued from living in an outdoor pen and have never looked back. They are social, outgoing, have tested well with other dogs and are learning to walk on a leash. Since they have never lived in a home, they will need time to adjust and get used to things, but they are not shy and should adjust easily.
