Story
We’ve had Nikko for about a year. We adopted him from Homeward Bound in Blackwood last Jan. He really needs a place where he can run free (fenced yard) as he has a lot of energy. He should really be the only pet in the home as he really doesn’t get along with other dogs. He’s just a bit much for us as we like to travel and don’t want to pay big money to board him. We believe he was mis-treated before we adopted him so he tends to be very timid but has improved sine we’ve had him. Shiba’s tend to be very independent and sometimes stubborn but are very smart.

Story
Milo’s a 8yo 21lb Shiba Inu mix. He loves kids and ok with other dogs but seems to prefer them not around. He’s housebroken when kept on a schedule and crate trained. He’s good with a secure fenced in yard and going for harness leashed walks. He loves toys, people especially to cuddle with. He’s loving, loyal, happy and chill. He loves to run and play fetch in his fosters secure fenced in yard. Milo’s foster requires a home with a secure fenced in yard, active people along with giving leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Milo as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Milo’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Jenkintown, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK&EWR💟 Meet Beodeul🌿 (It means willow in Korean) 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1.) Health Condition * Neutered. * The patella on both hind legs are weak and need consistent care. They may become dislocated if he runs quickly or kicks his hind legs after pottying so caution should be exercised. 2.) Rescue Story * Beodeul was sitting idly in a wire cage with holes underneath, lifted off the ground, at a rural house in Damyang, Jeollanam-do. Noticing that dogs in that house disappeared and were replaced frequently, an Adogs volunteer could no longer turn away and rushed to rescue him. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Likes people and actively shows interest in them but avoids your hands if you actively try to pet him. Quite likes being petted once you actually get ahold of him, but doesn’t completely let his guard down. Although he’s curious about people, he growls or barks out of fear if he seems someone making large movements or holding and shaking something in their hand. With familiar people, he’s an affectionate cutie that chases them around, lies down near them, and asks to be petted by licking them. * With Dogs: Played really well with a big dog who he lived with, but has bitten before over treats. Caution is needed when treats are around. When he sees other dogs, he becomes overstimulated and tries to lunge. Is generally hostile towards dogs, regardless of size. * With Cats: Gets overexcited and tries to chase cats when encountering them. * Separation Anxiety: When he was a puppy, he whined and cried if his doggy roommate went out for a walk without him. Now that he’s older, he’s become calm and waits well. May need training from scratch if he lives in a family home. * Potty Training: Only potties outdoors since he’s currently living outdoors. Does his business nicely during walks and likes to mark. * Hygiene: Accepts any grooming nicely when caught! * Walks: Is receiving training, but pulls on the leash. Wants to chase after animals he encounters on walks. When seeing other dogs barking or being hostile, he copies that behavior and tries to charge at them. So he’s getting trained to sit and wait while other dogs pass by until they’re out of sight. * Car Sickness: Is scared of getting in a car. Trembles and drools a little at first, but becomes fine after a while. * Biting: When another dog tries to take his treat, barks, or growls at him, he shows aggression. * Barking: Whines if he wants to be taken out of his kennel, as if telling you to open the door faster! If he encounters a dog barking or being on guard while on a walk, he also barks. * Likes: Really likes dolls and toys so much that he always has one in his mouth and begs to play tug! Enjoys rolling around on the grass. * Dislikes: Is scared of getting in a car, and tries to run away by taking off his leash or harness. Double leashes are a must and extra care is needed. Is scared of large movements, and people who are holding things such as canes. * Tricks: Can ‘sit’ when he wants something. Previously, he could only sit, but now he sits and has also learned to make eye contact.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK&EWR💟 Meet Guma🧡 💙 Guma’s News Account: @ganadi_imbo 1. Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and heartworm retest is scheduled in Feb. 2026. * Canine teeth are worn out, so you need to be careful by preventing her from chewing hard things such as wood sticks or bone snacks. 2. Rescue Story * Guma was staying at the Gimje City Shelter on a hot summer day with other dogs. Just before the heat wave and monsoon season hit, she was urgently rescued. She stood out for her strong attachment to people and her desperate longing for affection. 3. Basic Information * With People: Although initially shy with strangers, she quickly opens up and enjoys being adored. Stays still and enjoys gentle petting. Recently, has started approaching guests on her own and is comfortable being with them even without her guardian. Was a bit awkward on the first day she met her guardians, but from the next day, she greeted them excitedly with a wagging tail and follows when called. Recently, when an acquaintance of the guardian took charge of her for a few days, she got along very well with them and learned the dog tricks. * With Dogs: Wags her tail but seems to feel awkward when she encounters other dogs. * With Cats: Stared at cats when she encountered them. Followed the instruction right away when the guardian asked her to go. * Separation Anxiety: Plays and sleeps well on her own without barking or whining. Seems to enjoy her alone time. Still, when her guardian comes home late, she softly grumbles and makes little woo-woo sounds to express herself. Due to her tendency to defecate outdoors only, her guardian is taking her for a walk during lunch time or going to work together with her to avoid her alone time as much as possible. * Potty Training: Does outdoor potty. Goes out for walk three times a day for the potty purpose. * Hygiene: Is calm and well-behaved during baths, drying, brushing, nail trimming and tooth brushing. * Walks: Pulls a bit on the leash when she is in a hurry to go to the grass for defecation or wants to approach other dogs during walks. In seeing a bicycle or a motorcycle, sometimes tries to chase it. * Car Sickness: Vomited from nervousness on her first car ride to the foster home. Since then, however, she’s been much more relaxed during rides with her guardian and hasn't shown signs of motion sickness. * Nip: Doesn't ’bite at all. Shows no reaction even when treats or toys are taken away. * Barking: In encountering other dogs during a walk, tries to approach them while whining. Mumbles when her guardian returns home late from the work. No unnecessary barking at all. * Like It: Loves people and is very attentive to her guardian. * Dislike It: Tends to shy away when large items are moved or when the vacuum cleaner is on. * Tricks: Recognizes her name and comes running right away when called! When people gently tap the floor, she flops over regardless of where she is. If they tap their arms, she comes over and rests on it like a pillow. If they tap their legs, she lies down across it! Sometimes does not respond the call when she's concentrating on something else.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK&EWR💟 Meet Yunjeong😊 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_everyday 1.) Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped. 2.) Rescue Story * In the freezing cold of January 2021, Yunjeong was living in the Gimje City Shelter with her young puppies. Sadly, she lost all her puppies due to parvo and was rescued alone. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is quite timid and doesn’t usually approach first. However, if you take it slow, she accepts touch without big issue. * With Dogs: Tends to prefer staying alone to getting together with doggy friends. As long as other dogs don’t bother her, she’s generally okay. However, if she has to share her space where she sleeps and rests, she can show significant aggression toward other dogs. So, must be kept separated. * With Cats: Didn't respond to cats during walks. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as she resides with other dogs at our center. Needs training in a home environment. * Hygiene: Although she’s timid and tends to lie down, she stays calm during baths, drying, and brushing. Resists a bit when her paws are touched before nail trimming. However, handles it well once it starts. * Walks: Tends to pull on the leash in the beginning. When scared, she either lies down or circles around the person. * Nip: While she shows no biting behavior toward people, she may become aggressive toward other dogs when unsupervised in a shared space. Therefore, it’s important to keep her separated from other dogs.

Meet Peach🍑 * With People : She’s great with women and children. She’s just a bit sensitive about head touches, especially from adult men — she might give a little grumble to show she’s not comfortable, but it’s nothing aggressive. * With Dogs : She loves running around with familiar dogs — they sniff, play, and have so much energy together! * With Cats : She hasn’t had experience living with cats. When she sees or smells a cat during walks, she gets curious and may try to chase. * Separation Anxiety : She does very well alone and is calm when left alone during the day, simply resting or napping. She also gets along well with other dogs, even without people around. * Potty Training : She’s great about not pottying indoors and is well-trained to go outside. Even during the rainy season, she’s quick to do her business as soon as she’s outside! * Hygiene : She loves baths, drying, and brushing! Her nails haven’t been trimmed much due to all the walks, but her teeth are in excellent condition, and she gets regular brushing. * Walk : She doesn’t pull on the leash during walks, except when she’s going potty or when she spots cats or birds, in which case she may try to chase and pull on the leash. * Car Sickness : She has no issues with car rides at all. She’s very familiar with traveling since she goes on trips often. 💌Special Notes💌 * She waits for her turn for treats with other dogs and is patient when alone. However, she tends to guard her favorite treats, growling to keep others away — but only when they’re given to her, never when in her owner’s hands. *She has no possessiveness over toys or regular treats and food. However, she does show some possessiveness over meat, growling to keep it to herself when eating. *She does dislike having her paws wiped after being outside. *She responds well to "wait"
