When I met Osito, he was kept inside all day in a pen. He was rarely let outside and was never walked, so he would pee in his pen. I offered to adopt him, when I had a lot of time to dedicate to my pets. As I got busier, I could not give him the attention that he needs. Because he already had the bad habit of marking his area, it took me a great deal to get rid of it. As I worked more and more, I had less time to train him and take him outside (sometimes I work up to 12-hour shifts). I feel terrible about not having time to take him outside enough - this causes him to have to pee on the balcony. Though Osito is much better off than before, it's still not the ideal situation for a dog like him. Osito is very loving, likes giving kisses, hugs, knows basic obedience like sit, stay, "let's go", down, place, "go potty", turn, leave it, and "quiet". With the right owner, he would make an excellent companion for anyone! Even my 3-year-old can walk him! Please consider adopting Osito!

My daughter bought him for me from a guy in a parking garage. He is mostly Lhasa apso. He was a great puppy, but tried dominating my granddaughter, who was 9 years old at the time. Oliver went through 3 different dog training programs, and the last one I was told he had resource aggression. As he got older I got bit a few times, but not in months now. He is on prozac, gabapentin, and hydroxyzine for anxiety. He gets anxious whenever my granddaughter is here, and he will growl at me. She hears it from the other end of the house, and is afraid. She is also autistic. My daughter, son in law, and granddaughter won't come to my home anymore. He is mostly great with me and my other daughter and he is a great watch dog. I am hard of hearing and he lets me know when someone is at the door. He is great at the groomers, and with other dogs. We also have cats and they play together. He doesn't always obey, but he will do anything for his ball, which I will trade to get him to take his medicine.
