Hi! This is Chase. He will be turning 8 years old this October. I purchased him from a small breeder in 2018. He is house-trained and knows how to let someone know when it’s time to go outside. He is very people-friendly but does not get along well with other animals. He is energetic and can be loud at times, as he tends to bark. Overall, he is a good dog; however, I can no longer keep him due to my busy schedule. I am looking for a great home where he will receive lots of love and attention.

🐾 Meet Shiro – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Next Loving Home Meet Shiro, an 8-year-old Shih Tzu with a gentle heart and perfect manners. He is extremely friendly with kids, dogs, and strangers—very social, playful, and always eager to please. Shiro is obedient, never aggressive, and rarely barks (only at unfamiliar sounds or the occasional animal on TV). He is fully potty trained and clearly communicates his needs for food, water, and potty breaks. Shiro is low-maintenance and never demanding, yet he enjoys occasional attention and affection. He loves running around the backyard chasing leaves and happily playing with kids and other dogs. He has been a loving child to our family, and with a heavy heart, we are looking to rehome him as we are relocating out of the country. We hope to find caring parents who can provide him the same love, comfort, and safe home he deserves. Looking for a gentle, friendly, well-mannered companion? A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Meet Paxton! This 9-year-old miniature poodle is a senior with plenty of personality. He can sometimes show a bit of attitude, so we recommend a home without small children. Paxton enjoys walks on a leash but would thrive with a small, dog-approved fenced yard where he can safely explore and stretch his legs. He gets along well with other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for the right family. Paxton weighs 8lbs. and is approximately 9 years old (est. birth date 01/29/2016). Paxton has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Paxton's adoption fee is $85. If you want more information about Paxton, please submit a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. At this time, meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. Must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
