Story
History: Wrenlee is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon! A Note from the Foster: 💗 Meet Wrenlee – A Gentle Soul Ready for Her Forever Home 💗 Wrenlee is an 11-pound Shih-Poo with the softest heart and the sweetest spirit. This precious girl clearly carries the marks of a hard past — likely spent in a breeder environment — but she’s learning every day what love and safety truly feel like. Wrenlee is shy and skittish at first, but once she trusts you, she becomes your little shadow. She’s completely devoted to her person and wants to be touching you at all times — and just when you think she’s snuggled as close as she can get, she’ll find a way to be even closer! 💕 She eats her meals like a champ and is thriving in her foster home. She’s currently working on her potty skills and doing well with a consistent routine. She loves spending time in the big fenced yard, where she feels safe to explore at her own pace. A patient family will need to help her continue learning about walks and building confidence on a leash, which is still new for her. Crates are not for her — after spending too much of her life likely confined, she’s earned the right to be your baby now. Wrenlee would do best as an only dog or with a family willing to patiently help her learn to share attention. Her soft waves are just beginning to grow back after being shaved, and soon her beautiful chocolate curls will shine again — a perfect reflection of her blossoming spirit. Wrenlee would thrive in a quieter home without small children, where she can continue to build confidence and soak up all the love she’s been waiting for. If you’re looking for a gentle little soul who will adore you endlessly and follow you wherever you go, Wrenlee is ready to fill your heart and home. 🐾

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Tootsie – the gentle goldendoodle with a heart wrapped in mystery and a soul that’s just beginning to shine. With her soft, curly coat and expressive eyes, Tootsie looks like she stepped straight out of a storybook. But her tale isn’t all fairytales and sunshine—it’s one of quiet resilience and learning to trust again. You see, Tootsie didn’t come from a place where humans were kind or love came easy. She’s had to navigate her way through fear and uncertainty, slowly opening her heart one tiny step at a time. Tootsie’s not the dog who’s going to run up and smother you with kisses. In fact, she’d prefer to stay on the sidelines, observing the world with cautious curiosity. Her happy place? Right alongside her canine companions. Give her a few playful pups and a safe yard to roam, and you’ll witness her sparkle come to life—tail wagging, eyes gleaming, and a pep in her step you might’ve never imagined from this once-shy girl. She’s what we lovingly call a “dog’s dog.” She thrives in a pack and takes her social cues from her four-legged friends. If you have a confident, friendly dog at home, Tootsie will quietly attach herself and follow their lead—it’s how she’s learning that people might not be so scary after all. Tootsie will need: A securely fenced yard (4 feet or taller)—she’s quick on her feet and still learning the ropes of the big, wide world. A calm, consistent environment where there aren’t too many surprises. She’s not built for chaos or noise; she’s built for peace. A doggie friend (or two) to be her guide, playmate, and emotional support. A cat-free home—Tootsie has a strong prey drive, and little critters just seem too tempting. And most importantly, a patient and experienced adopter who understands that some dogs don’t fit the “cuddly lap dog” mold—and that’s okay. She may never be the dog who comes when you call or begs for belly rubs, but in her quiet presence, there’s a profound kind of beauty. With time, trust, and the right environment, Tootsie will continue to bloom. And for the special family that sees her for who she truly is—gentle, loyal, and full of untapped potential—she’ll be an unforgettable gift. Tootsie’s not for everyone. But if you're someone who finds joy in the quiet wins and believes every soul deserves a chance to heal, then Tootsie just might be your once-in-a-lifetime dog.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Theo is a 9-year-old Shih Tzu mix who weighs approximately 13 pounds. He is a sweet, snuggly lap log who loves to be near his humans! He would love a family that lets him sleep with them overnight. He is a gentle soul in search of a family to love him in his retirement years.   Theo is very close to being potty-trained when kept on a schedule, but he does have occasional potty accidents. He will need a family who is patient with him while he continues to build consistency with housetraining. Theo does not enjoy spending time in his kennel. He is very vocal when in there, but does well with free roam, so there is really no reason to kennel him. Theo is also vocal when there are new people in his space and he likes to alert his foster family when they have visitors. For this reason, shared walls might not be the best fit for his forever home. His fur will require regular grooming, but what handsome old man doesn't deserve a good spa day?!?    Theo has luxating patellas in both of his knees. The vet does not recommend surgical intervention at this time, but it is something to watch in the future. Currently, Theo should continue taking a glucosamine supplement.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal?
