Say hello to Fuzzy! Fuzzy is a one-year-old male Australian Shepherd/Poodle mix with a long, soft white coat accented by charming red and brown spots. Weighing in at 34 pounds, this medium-sized pup is full of energy and love!Fuzzy is house-trained and hasn’t had any accidents in his foster home. While he’s still working on his crate training, he’s learning to feel more comfortable with it little by little. Fuzzy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident resident dog to show him the ropes. He’s also been tested with cats and is very curious but does well with them around.Fuzzy adores children and loves to sniff and play with them. True to his name, he’s cuddly, affectionate, and always ready for fun! His favorite activities include playing with squeaky toys, stuffed animals, and exploring the great outdoors. Fuzzy’s boundless energy makes him a great companion for an active household! Although a fenced yard isn’t a requirement, it would be a major bonus to allow Fuzzy to play outdoors safely and burn off his excess energy.Despite his sunny personality, Fuzzy is recovering from some past trauma and struggles with separation anxiety. He will thrive in a home where he’s able to see his people throughout the day and can participate in family activities where appropriate. He has a tendency to be vocal when home alone, and for this reason a home with shared walls isn’t ideal.One of Fuzzy’s funniest quirks? He loves bath time and will happily jump into the shower for a good scrub! However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
