Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Meet Fabio! This handsome Shih Tzu mix is around 3.5 years old and weighs about 16 pounds. Fabio is such a happy-go-lucky guy that loves to play and snuggle with his humans. He seems to definitely be what one would consider a "velcro" dog and loves attention! He does great on his leash walks, and is house broken. Treats are such a great motivation for this very good boy. What we think at this point for Fabio is that he will do best in a home where he can be the center of attention as the only dog. We are not sure how he interacts with dogs, children, or cats. Meeting the whole family residing in the home will be very important to set everyone up for success! Is Fabio the pup of your dreams? Apply today! We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.       Meet 8-10 year old distinguished gentleman Jeff.   Jeff LOVES to go for a walk around the neighborhood, he’s a quiet and gentle guy but when it’s time for a walk joy emits from every little hair on his body!   He’s doing wonderful with crate training, he’s easy to groom, and he loves the company of other small dogs. Cats are unknown but we suspect he would take them in stride.   Jeff seems to prefer the company of woman and would probably do best in a home without men.   Apply to give this lovely boy the second life he so deserves! - APPLICATION (See our Dog Adoption FAQs before applying) December 5, 2025, 9:12 am
