Story
We’ve had Chloe since she was 8 weeks old, and she’s now 5. Rehoming her is truly breaking our hearts, but with a new baby, we just can’t give her the attention she’s always needed. Chloe is a spunky, playful little dog with a big personality. She loves to run, play, and be involved in everything. She’s very sweet and bonds deeply, but she struggles with separation anxiety and really needs someone who is home most of the day. Since the baby arrived, she has been showing more anxiety, having accidents in the house, and clearly feeling the shift in attention. She also needs regular grooming and medication to stay calm for appointments. Chloe is small but high-energy and needs an active lifestyle, patience, and structure. She is high-maintenance, but incredibly loving. We want her to go to someone experienced and understanding who can give her the time, reassurance, and consistency she deserves.

Kash Monee Mernar is ready to find his forever!!! This adorable one year-old Cockapoo is truly a miracle 🙌 He was hit by a car in late August and he sustained multiple pelvic fractures. Zoe’s House took responsibility for his care and he was rushed to Penn Veterinary Hospital where emergency surgery was performed. His tail was severely displaced and had to be amputated but that just means his whole body wags when he is happy to see his person 🥰 Kash has spent the last two months rehabbing at Penn and in his foster home. Remarkably, he has good use of both rear legs. Kash is running and playing with his foster fur siblings! He is fully house trained although regression in a new home is common. He lounges in a playpen when his foster mom must leave during the day. At night, he has been sleeping in a bassinet of sorts right by foster mom‘s bed (yes this boy has been spoiled🤭) although he loves to lie on the bed to hang out and watch TV. He is still gaining strength in his left rear leg and his balance can be off at times, but he is growing stronger every day. For this reason, only children 12+ will be considered in his forever home. Kash is neutered and is up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives. He walks well on a leash and travels beautifully in the car. His forever family could have a young playful dog, or he could be your one and only. Most important is that his forever family have plenty of time to shower him with love and attention which he absolutely deserves. This boy’s favorite place is your lap❤️ Kash is being fostered in Collegeville, Montgomery County and his new family should be prepared to travel there for the adoption. A home visit and meet and greet with all family members is part of the process. Kash Monee MERNAR was named after the late Linda Mernar who was a beloved supporter of Zoe’s House. Are you looking for your perfect little partner! If so, this little lover will be the perfect addition. Arizona is a shy, sweet 7.5lb 5 YO female Toy Poodle who spent the beginning of her life as a breeding dog. Arizona would do best in a home with no small children. She loves dogs and is a little shy with her humans. She needs a quiet setting so that she can get comfortable in her new home but is a cuddler once she is comfortable. Once she’s comfortable, Arizona will follow you everywhere. She will require a lot of attention to help her build her confidence and come out of her shell so a home where someone works from home or is home often, is preferred. She is house trained but will be nervous sometimes going outside for a walks in the beginning. Please be aware she may have accidents in your home at the beginning while she's working through this. She also is nervous on a leash so will need some training on a leash but she loves going for walks in her carriage. We do required a fenced in yard for Arizona. She just discovered zoomies and loves running around and chasing the other dogs. Arizona is just starting to play with toys. She is low maintenance and just wants to sit by you. She will need some time to adjust to his new surroundings, but it will be worth the wait. Please note, after having all her teeth extracted, Arizona now needs her kibble softened with hot chicken broth so she can eat comfortably without pain. Hope this won’t deter you from adopting this little love bug. Arizona requires a fenced yard in case she gets spooked. Meet Murphy!!! This sweet boy is a 9 month old poodle. He currently weighs about 40 pounds and will still grow a bit! Murphy is still a puppy and while he has the occasional zoomies, he is extremely smart and eager to learn! He is fully housebroken and crate trained. He knows sit, paw, lay down and is learning new tricks by the day. He loves mini training sessions and responds well to corrections. He loves his toys so much and he loves a game of tug of war or keep away! He’s still learning what’s his and what’s yours so a tidy home without shoes and human toys at his disposal will be helpful in this learning stage. Murphy is excellent in the car and likes to ride daily to drop his foster kid off at school! He would love an active family that is excited to bring him places. He’s well socialized and good on leashed walks. Murphys is seeking a forever home with: Children 8+. He would love some big kids excited to play with him and give him lots of snuggles! A fenced in yard is preferred so he can play fetch. He is not cat tested, so he’s seeking a home without cats or small dogs. Murphy is confident and playful. He would do well with another dog his age/energy level or as an only dog. Someone who is home a good portion of the day to keep him physically and mentally stimulated is desirable. His beautiful coat will require regular grooming to keep him looking his most handsome. Murphy is an absolute sweetheart and a joy to be around and he can’t wait to find his forever family!
