hi Darla, this pretty lady is a 8-year-old, 20 lbs. Shih Tzu / Bichon mix. She was surrendered to our care with another dog from commercial breeder when they was no longer needed. Darla spent many years being used for nothing more than profit so she is understandably a bit confused in her new life. She allows all handling but she is very timid. She will do her best imitation of a statue when meeting new people so she is looking for a loving and patient home that will help her gain more confidence. She really needs a home with a social dog to help her. She would need to meet any resident dogs. She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. She is also scheduled for a dental evaluation and will receive it as the vet deems is necessary. She is very outgoing, and loves to snuggle, play with toys, and be silly. She lived her life in a tiny closet before coming to us so she is learning how to be a dog. She will potty on pee pads and outside, but is always wanting her human along for support. She is all finished with her vetting, and in perfect health despite her rough start. Bailey rides well in a car, is crate trained, great with other young dogs, and will be a wonderful addition to a lucky family! Bubbles and her sister and brother, Buttercup and Brodie were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd this year so they are 8 months old. Bubbles has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She’s also microchipped. She weighs just under 9 pounds and is probably full grown now. Bubbles is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Although and three pups are extremely sweet, Bubbles is a most friendly and a super snuggler! She plays great with her brother and sister and we feel like she would be fine with other dogs after getting to know them. She would do well with older children and we have not had her around cats but we feel like she would be fine with proper introduction.
