Meet Sully! This adorable little fluffball was found running as a stray in an area where we’ve rescued two other Shih Tzu mixes who look just like him! His finder reached out for help, and thankfully, we had a foster ready to bring him safely into rescue. Sully is currently living with Johanna, her four dogs, and two cats. He may be the smallest in the pack, but he’s not shy about speaking up when another dog gets too far into his personal space. He’s playful, social, and just figuring out his boundaries. He’s also cat-friendly and kid-tested (8 years old). Sully has no issues being handled or picked up. He’s crate-trained, housetrained, has solid leash skills, and even knows “sit,” so he was clearly someone’s pet at some point. He LOVES his humans and is a total lap dog—his favorite place is curled up getting pets from his foster mom. Johanna describes Sully as a fun, upbeat pup who gets excited for any adventure. He rides great in the car and is ready to be your little sidekick. Sully is getting groomed today and will be heading to the DC metro area on 12/6. Apply today to welcome him home!
