Hello... I'm Mattie! I am a one-year-old Shih Tzu mix and a total cuddle bug. I've been settling in my new foster home and I love it. I got a nice haircut, gaining some weight and looking pretty cute I think! I have four foster siblings and they are showing me the ropes of being part of a family. I walk well on a leash and love to go on car rides. It may take me a little time to warm up, but once I am comfortable we will be best friends. My ideal home is with people that are home more than not or want to take me on their travel adventures. I love my humans and don't really like to be left alone for long. Pretzel's adoption fee is $250. We prefer he goes to a senior who needs a companion because he is also a senior. Pretzel's family had to move and could only take one dog with them, so they asked for help with the other two. Biggie is the sweetest lovebug and a perfect gentleman in the car and on leash. This is one of a kind senior dog. The adoption fee is a tax-deductible donation to our 501c3 rescue and includes vaccines, worming microchips, and spaying/neutering. Meet and greets will only be scheduled after a completed and signed application is submitted. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis...We do our homework and ensure the home is the best possible situation for the pet based on breed specifics and the lifestyle of the potential home.
