Story
This is the most special little dog. She was living in a homeless camp in LA. She came staggering out to the street covered in fleas and filth. One of our humane workers picked her up. She is now feeling much better, clean, and eating nutritious food. We have named her Trixie May. She looks to be a Papillon - Pomeranian - Chihuahua mix. She is 10 years old. She loves to be held and gets so excited when we talk to her. Trixie May is a treasure.

Story
Roxy is a 7-year-old Papillon mix weighing about 14 pounds, and she still has plenty of bounce to the ounce. Don’t let her age fool you this girl is full of personality and still has impressive agility skills to show off. One of her favorite tricks is coming when called and leaping right up into your arms, which never fails to make people smile. Roxy is also a world-class snuggler, and curling up next to you in bed is pretty much a requirement in her book. If you enjoy walking or light outdoor adventures, Roxy would love to be your little sidekick. She enjoys getting out and about, but she’s just as happy relaxing at home afterward. Indoors, you’ll often find her playing with her toys and working hard to conquer the squeaky ones (you may have to keep an eye on those!). Roxy currently lives with dogs both big and small and does well with them. She’s an affectionate, loyal companion who loves being close to her people. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving companion who will brighten your days and always put a smile on your face, Foxy Roxy might just be your perfect match. Story
ADOPTION PENDING Gigi was found wandering the streets of Santa Ana, alone and unsure, until a kind stranger stepped in to help and brought her to AALOC. Despite every effort to locate her previous family, no one came forward. Now, this little survivor is ready for a fresh start — and a forever home where she will never be lost again. Gigi is a darling, full-grown petite girl weighing just about 10 pounds. Her soft, shiny black fur has a delightful “bedhead” look that seems to go in every direction, giving her an irresistibly charming personality to match. We believe she may be a Papillon/Chihuahua mix — whatever her lineage, she is 100% adorable. Sweet-natured and affectionate, Gigi loves being close to her people and thrives on companionship. She also enjoys playing with other small dogs and would do well with a canine friend her size. After fending for herself, Gigi deserves a safe lap, a loving heart, and a family to call her own. Could that be you? Please apply to adopt Gigi at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Gigi and get to know her a bit. Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit (in Orange County, CA). For more information on adoption policies visit our dog adoption page at www.aaloc.org. Contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org or by phone (714) 893-4393.

Story
This cutie is Yale. He is an approx 2 years old, 13lb Spaniel mix. This poor guy was found as a stray in Long Beach and was rescued just in time from being put down at the shelter. Yale is the ultimate lap dog and loves a good car ride. He gets along great with other dogs but mainly loves getting love from humans. While he is bashful at first, he is very sweet...just give him time. He would love to be in a home where there isn't too much going on at all times and he can just sunbathe and hang out with you. Adopt Yale at https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.html
