Holley is a very sweet, 5 year old, 20 lb Shih Tzu who was severely neglected and extremely overweight. She has lost several pounds and recently had surgery to remove bladder stones. Holley is feeling much better than when she arrived. Holley is on a special diet that she will need to continue to prevent a recurrence of the stones. Holley loves people. Meet Slinky, a 5-year-old Shih Tzu mix who is a perfectly sized, happy little guy with a big heart and an easygoing personality. Weighing 13 pounds, Slinky fits easily into everyday life and loves being included in whatever his people are doing. He is friendly with everyone he meets, great with small children, and gets along well with other dogs, though he would also be perfectly content as a solo pup. Slinky has a medium energy level and enjoys walks, car rides, playing fetch, and enthusiastically emptying the toy bin, but he is not overly hyper and settles nicely. He is potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, and currently learning basic commands. Food motivated and curious, Slinky is a quick learner who enjoys attention and staying nearby, even if he is not overly snuggly all the time. He does well when left alone occasionally, has no separation anxiety, and is not destructive.
