Story
Binx is a very loving, playful 5 yr old Shih Tzu mix boy. He weighs 14 lbs. Binx loves toys and playing tug-a-war with another dog. Binx is house trained and loves going for walks. Binx would be happy to sit in your lap all day or next to you on a sofa. He sleeps in the big bed. He needs a home where his boundaries are respected, and he has time to adjust. He would love lots of toys, another dog to play with, and gentle older kids are okay. Binx is fostering in the Northeast area of the USA. Story
It breaks my heart to write this, but I am looking for a compassionate new home for my two beloved senior dogs. They have been together since they were just six months old and are now 14½ and 15 years old. They are deeply bonded, gentle, affectionate, and have brought so much love into my life. My greatest hope is that they can remain together for the rest of their lives. Both dogs have age-related medical conditions that are currently being successfully treated. One has diabetes and cataracts and receives regular insulin treatment, which has kept the diabetes well managed. The other was recently diagnosed with low thyroid levels and is doing well on medication. They are calm, sweet-natured companions who would thrive in a quiet, peaceful home where they can enjoy their golden years surrounded by kindness, patience, and love. I am no longer able to continue providing the level of care they deserve because my income is no longer able  to meet their ongoing healthcare needs.

Story
Meet LOKI Loki is an 8-pound, 2-year-old male Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix (our best guess) with the most unique coat ever. It reminds me of a '70s shag carpet, but Google Lens insists it's called 'blue sable'. Loki was found as a stray and taken to ACPS, where no one ever came looking for him. The finders completed a home stray hold and then adopted him, but soon realized he needed more than they were able to give with busy work schedules and health issues. That's when he found himself on a rehoming page. With that adorable little face, there were plenty of people interested in him, but I'm so grateful they chose rescue instead. It gives us the opportunity to truly advocate for Loki and find him the committed family he deserves—his FINAL FUREVER HOME. Loki is adorable, wildly ENERGETIC, absolutely loves playing with every dog in the program, and is an all-around fantastic little pup. Now... here's where Loki needs his person. Sadly, one of the top reasons dogs lose their homes is because they aren't fully housetrained. I refuse to let that become Loki's story again. If I were a betting woman, I'd say this is the biggest reason Loki keeps finding himself needing a new family. Some dogs simply take longer to learn, and Loki is one of them. Consistency—not perfection—is exactly what Loki has been missing. Loki will thrive with crate training, short- and long-term confinement, tether training, and a predictable routine. These aren't punishments—they're tools that will help him finally understand what is expected of him. Without that consistency, he'll continue finding himself in the heartbreaking cycle of people becoming frustrated, giving up on him, and **being passed from home to home. The best part? Loki is the kind of dog that makes you laugh every single day—you just have to be willing to put in the work first. He has enough personality to keep you smiling, enough energy to keep you moving, and enough love to make every bit of that work worthwhile. Are you the kind of person who sees potential instead of problems? Do you understand that consistency today creates confidence tomorrow? If you're ready to make a commitment—and stick to it—I think Adventure Buddy Loki just might be looking for you. Story
Meet SULLY Sully is a sweet, quiet 2-year-old, 14-pound Shih Tzu who absolutely lights up when he sees his people. I was told he likes kids, but I found it took him a few days to warm up to us—his foster mom and dad. At first, he preferred to quietly observe everything going on around him before deciding we were worthy of his trust. Honestly... I kind of respect that. Because Sully takes a little time to settle into new places and around new people, I think his most ideal home would be a quieter one without small children or a lot of hustle and bustle. Sully has already been rehomed twice. The first time because his family couldn't afford the care he needed (vetting and grooming), and the second time because they "didn't have the time." He needs someone willing to take him out into the world, help him build confidence, and show him that new people and new places aren't so scary. This also means having a groomer who is willing to earn his trust so he can be groomed as he's currently only been groomed by those he knows in the home. Just as importantly, he needs someone who understands that housetraining isn't something that's going to happen overnight—it will take patience, consistency, and a commitment to seeing it through. Sadly, one of the top reasons dogs lose their homes is because they aren't fully housetrained. I refuse to let that become Sully's story again. What Sully has been missing is patience, structure, and someone who won't give up on him too soon. Sully will thrive with crate training, tether training, a predictable routine, and lots of positive reinforcement. These aren't punishments—they're simply tools that will help him learn to hold his bladder and finally understand what is expected of him. Without that consistency, he'll continue finding himself in the heartbreaking cycle of people becoming frustrated, giving up on him, and being passed from home to home. The best part? Once Sully decides you're his person, his whole face lights up when he sees you. Watching that little tail wag because you've become his safe place is pretty special. Story
Rambo is an amazing dog and it saddens me that I have to give him up. I’ve had Rambo for 8 years and I got him from my aunt when he was about 3. Rambo is very house trained and love kids. But he’s getting older and needs more attention than I can give him because I am a new mother with a newborn. He’s loving, the absolute sweetest boy, loyal. He loves baths, long walks and playing with his toys. Looking for a family or someone that’s more of a home body to adopt him Rambo does have a few little quirks. He has weather anxiety so he gets the shakes when it rains. He also has travel anxiety and will cry in the car. Lastly he has to go on walks to poop so you can’t just let him out the door in a yard. Rambo is great with other dogs but he was attacked by 2 pit bulls years ago and sometimes gets anxious. All in all Rambo is a really great dog and any home would be happy to have him
