Murphy really is a great dog but needs the right attention. He has special needs because he was born blind in one eye and is a deformed on one side of his face. He is sweet and playful and loves to run around we unfortunately have a lot going on.

Tucker is a neutered, 8-year-old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix male that came in with his dad & 4 other siblings after his owner suddenly passed. He does get along well with other small dogs although he will try to be control a pup if it's a little too excited or acting up. When food is around, it's best to feed Tucker separately as he can get a little grumpy when he has to share the treats/food. Tucker's favorite place is to be on the back of the couch if you're watching tv or anywhere near you. At bedtime, while all of his siblings are fine in the crate, he has to be in bed with you. Meet Mindy, an adorable 9 year old,11 lb, cream colored Shih Tzu girl. She is a sweet soul who enjoys being outside in her fenced backyard, car rides, belly rubs, playing with toys and her K9 foster siblings. Even though Mindy can have her spurts of energy, her goal in life is to be your sidekick and fellow “couch potato”. She is a retired breeding kennel mamma, and like most of these pups, she needs a quiet home, and another dog to continue to learn from and help her adjust to her new life. She is house trained and leash trained (she loves walks), but she has not been able to manage stairs. She would need a one level home or someone who will be able to carry her up and down stairs as needed. Mindy loves her humans but is slow to warm up to new people.
