Peanut, a 17 lb bundle of joy is an all around enjoyable 9 month old Shorkie, a Shi Tzu and Yorkie mix. He is bright eyed and beautiful, all Shi-Tzu on the inside with an adorable Yorkie coat. This is a wonderful dog who, with training, is going to mature into a solid family member of a very lucky family. Peanut is good with cats great with other dogs, and never met a person he didn’t lick/like. Peanut would be grateful in an active home. Peanut is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped His adoption fee is $950.00. We are a small rescue, and a portion of this fee helps support the ongoing care of our dogs, including Milo, a Little Cavalier who requires surgery on both back legs. This is how we ensure every dog receives the proper medical care and support they deserve. Please note our adoption policies: We do not adopt to families with young children. Seniors are encouraged to consider adopting a more mature dog. We do not adopt out of state unless the adopter has a second home in our area. Everyone say hi to Arfie, a 7.5 year old 28 lb shih tzu boy. Yes you read that right, Arfie weighs 28 lbs and is in need of a home that will take him on walks and give him the opportunity to shed some much needed pounds---with that said this little boy is an " absolute gentleman" according to his foster mom. Arfie came to us after his elderly owner was unable to care for him longer due to her own personal issues----Arfie has come a long way from intake when he was all of 39lbs!!! He just wants to please everyone, has excellent house manners and deserves a chance at a great life in a loving home. He gets along with EVERYONE and is a soft and kind hearted soul....he has yet to meet a person he doesn't wag his little tail at and asks to say hello to. Arfie has a history of seizures and is on medication where it controlled now that he has been seen and treated for it by our veterinary team. He also is allergic to chicken and chicken by-products but is doing great on a diet of salmon and sweet potato kibble which is sold over the counter.
