Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hello my name is Sasha I am a very lovable little lady. I may be 14 years old but still loving life.  I love to snuggle in my bed and every once in a while I will get the zoomies. I can't hear and I am blind in one eye. I would not do good with children under 12.I just want a home of my own to live out the rest of my life. Did you know small dogs can live to be 20?  Could I be your Pawfect match?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 5, 2024, 5:07 pm

Story
This pet was brought in as a stray and will NOT be available for adoption through our program. All stray animals brought in are posted on the gallery to hopefully be reunited with their families. Each pet is evaluated upon arrival, and throughout their stay, at the Animal Center and we do our best to place the animal in the setting most appropriate for them. Sometimes, they may be better served through one of our Transfer Partners due to the intervention needed, ongoing care required or a quieter setting for that individual. We want our animals to put their best paw forward. If you are a 501c3 rescue and are interested in partnering with WCAC to help this pet, and others, you can find more information on how to help at: https://www.wakegov.com/departments-government/animal-services/community-partners/transfer-program If this is your pet, please contact us immediately at AnimalCenter@wakegov.com Primary Color: Black Weight: 10 Age: 4yrs 0mths 0wks

Story
Teddy is an adorable 3 yr old, 13 lb Shih Tzu.    He is an active and athletic Shih Tzu. Teddy will make a great companion for a devoted walker, as weather doesn’t affect his love of a daily brisk walk.   He needs a home where someone is frequently around, as Teddy prefers to be with his person and will happily keep you company wherever you go.   With just a little patience as he adjusts to his new home, this little guy will warm right up. He’s a young, small dog who is quick and will dart for an open door, so his adoptive home needs to be prepared to manage him around outside doorways. Teddy needs to be only dog, since he likes all the attention and all the treats! The adoption range for this dog is limited to NC, SC and VA. If you are interested in adopting this dog, contact h2hadoptions@gmail.com. An all-adult home (No Children) and a yard with a secure fence, 4ft high with with NO gaps larger than 1 ½ inches and attached to the home. An invisible fence, enclosed patio or terrace, temporary fencing or community shared fencing are NOT considered secure fencing. No exceptions. There is an application process and adoption fee. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, North Carolina to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing. Adoption Fee: $500May 4, 2024, 12:45 am
