*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE ONLY FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS *** Mont Joy would love to give back to his community by helping other Saving Grace dogs with major medical needs, our senior dogs, nursing moms, and those who need life-saving heartworm treatments. Through his adoption, Mont Joy will ask his new family to assist him by making a donation of $500 (tax-deductible) in addition to the adoption fee ($395) to help his friends in need. Introducing - Mont Joy or "Monty". He is a sweet, easygoing boy who truly lives up to his name. Monty appears to be potty trained and has lovely house manners. He was left outside of the crate unsupervised and was on his best behavior - proven to be trustworthy. Monty has been around a 16 month old while in foster - he was gentle, appropriate and interested! At night, he sleeps cozily in bed and through the night, happy to settle in and relax. He does very well with other dogs and has been part of a big pack of dogs while in foster - mostly dogs of similar size but also 1 large GSD. He integrates easily and has a friendly demeanor. Like many dogs, Monty can be vocal at times - mainly just when he's excited or communicating his needs though. He seems to be very smart and is overall a charming little dog. Monty is a good eater and you don't have to wait around for him to finish his serving! He has been eating Science Diet small bites. Monty will need regular grooming for his beautiful black curly coat. He did great with a quick at home groom - it is obvious he has experience with grooming. We are so happy for Monty to find his forever family and know he will make the perfect new addition.

***PLEASE READ BIO BEFORE APPLYING*** Ori is a 5-month-old pup who came into rescue due to ongoing issues with going to the bathroom on her own. After being evaluated at CARE, it was discovered that she had a structural issue blocking her rectum. She underwent multiple veterinary visits to stretch the rectum, and while that obstruction was addressed, she continued to struggle with passing her bowels and required additional vet visits to clean out her colon. The good news is that with her current routine, Ori has not needed a vet visit for this issue in over six weeks. Ori is currently on medication three times a day to help soften her stool and is fed canned puppy food mixed with water. Her stool consistency can vary, and because of that she often needs butt baths and close monitoring to be sure she is using the bathroom regularly. This is likely a lifelong condition for Ori. That said, she has a routine that works well for her, and she is living a happy, comfortable life. Beyond her medical needs, Ori is such a sweetheart. She loves curling up on your chest, cuddling close, and falling asleep feeling safe. She likes fluffy stuffies she can shake around and enjoys rope toys for a good game of tug of war. Ori will need a home with someone who is around most of the time to monitor her, give her medications, and keep her on her routine. She needs an adopter with patience, a big heart, and a sense of humor who is not afraid of doggy diapers. In return, she will give you endless love, trust, and snuggles. ##2527683##
