Meet Fred...he is a 6 year old Shih Tzu/terrier mix in need of a new home. His family fell on hard times and could no longer keep him. We were able to get him neutered and now he needs a home. He will require lifetime grooming which is an expense an adopter must consider when adopting. In fact, he needs a grooming now. He just had surgery so you will need to wait about a week for him to heal before taking him to be groomed. He barks at everything. According to his previous owners he is good with cats. (He lived with 8 cats) He is house/crate trained. He is a runner they said, but he always comes home. He will not know his new home for about 3 months so he would be best in a home without kids who may open doors. Older kids who understand this would be ok. He is super hyper and ok around other dogs and kids. Please visit the Taylor Animal Shelter to meet him!
