Meet Bear, a sweet 5–6 year old Shih Tzu with a heart as big as his name 🐻 Bear is a 25-pound bundle of love who is ready to find his forever home. This charming little guy is extremely friendly and truly enjoys being around people. He greets everyone like an old friend and is wonderful with kids, making him a fantastic family companion. Bear gets along beautifully with other dogs and absolutely loves trips to the dog park. He also co-exists peacefully with cats. Car rides? One of his favorite things! He hops right in and is ready for the next adventure. On leash, he walks pretty well and enjoys getting out to explore. At home, Bear is a dream. He is 100% house trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and rarely barks. He has a calm, easygoing nature and settles in nicely after playtime. As a Shih Tzu, he is low-shedding, which is a bonus for those looking for a low-shed companion. Bear does have a cataract in one eye, but his vision in the other eye is good and he navigates his world just fine. He also has luxating patellas in his front legs; at this time they do not require intervention and he remains comfortable and active. Bear is the perfect mix of playful and laid-back — a loyal little shadow who will happily join you for outings or curl up beside you at the end of the day. Panda is 13 year old, 14 pound Shih tzu who came into our rescue when her owner passed away. Panda is a very sweet, calm girl who enjoys her walks, rides well in the car and loves to eat.  She can jump up on the couch but does not do the seven stairs up or down in her foster home. Panda is housetrained but will use a pee pad. She doesn’t seem to mind the snow but is not a fan of the rain or the very cold weather. Living with 3 other foster dogs Panda fits right in. She gets along with all the dogs and is very gentle when taking her treats.    We are still learning about Panda’s personality and how she adjusts to new situations.  So far it’s been an easy transition for her.   If you think Panda is the one for you, please fill in an application for our review.  January 28, 2026, 10:31 am
