Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 6/14/25 to NorCal and OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route if needed ☺️ We would love to add Yoko to our trip for the right home 💕
Meet our beautiful girl, Lilah! She is a purebred shih tzu. She turns 3 years of age on 6/7/25. She is spayed, microchipped, had a dental cleaning, is current on all of her yearly vaccines, and had a wonderful exam with our vet who has cleared her to find a home all her own ❤️
She is house trained, and does GREAT about going outside when asked to throughout the day. She sleeps through the whole night, without having to get up to use the restroom and is very patient in the morning to be let outside to potty. She is good about waiting to be let out, or asked if she needs to go out so she isn't one that will come to you to ask you herself, she just knows eventually you will open the door for her so having good communication with her will be important.
She is crate trained and currently sleeps in her crate at night only. She can easily transition to a bed aside yours, or even in bed with you if you would like that. She is very easy going, and will adapt to whatever sleeping arrangement you prefer moving forward. She is very comfortable in her crate, so we haven't changed her sleeping arrangement here. If anything, it'll help if you have to step out of the home in the beginning of her arrival to you if you don't want her crated at night. The crate has many uses, and whatever it may be used for in your home, she will be just fine with ❤️
She is leash trained, and loves her walks. She is very happy accompanying you on morning and evening walks as she enjoys the cooler weather. She stays by your side, and will occasionally steer a few steps away if she smells something interesting enough to investigate. She listens well, and minds her human so if you want her to remain by your side then a quick name call is all that's needed.
She is good with other dogs, but definitely likes being the princess of her home. She is very confident, and likes to be the one in charge at times in her group of dog friends, so if you don't already have a princess in your home then Lilah will HAPPILY take that role ❤️ She also grew up with cats, and chickens so she is very accustomed to animals outside of dog friends so if you have another sweet friend she will happily join them in life, but if not she will be just fine soaking up all the attention and affection you can give her 😊
She is very well mannered in the home. She is either lounging near by, or asleep in her crate. She will follow you around being her nosy little self, just to see what you have going on but aside from that she will go back to her bed, and relax til something exciting happens 🙃 She is not high energy at all, and is an extremely calm, chill, and relaxed soul. She would make an amazing companion for anyone looking for a friend to enjoy life with, however that looks for you 😊
She is not a barker, but will alert you of unfamiliar noises. She is good at keeping those she loves safe and alert of their surroundings. Otherwise she is very quiet, and you never would even know she was there. She is a total foodie, and loves treats, so that's one way to always be able to catch her attention. One shake of a treat bag, or Wiff of something delicious and she will be right in front of you sitting pretty waiting for you to give her a treat, and she will continue sitting hoping for a second and a third 😂
She is wonderful on road trips, and loves going anywhere the road leads, whether around town, or on vacation hundreds of miles away. She will keep you company every single second of your trip just happy to be a part of enjoying life with you!
She loves the groomers, and does very well getting all pretty so she can show off her new look to those she loves back home. She is incredible in every way, and knows exactly how to get you to stop what you are doing so you can give her extra snuggles telling her how beautiful she is ❤️❤️❤️
Her prior owner was an elderly woman, who was moving back east to be with her daughter. She wasn't able to take care of herself any longer due to mobility issues, and knew Lilah deserved someone who could care for her the way she was used to, and ultimately deserved so she reached out to us to take her in and find her a great human to love ❤️

It covers her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, dental cleaning (her teeth were in overall great health, they just needed a good clean and polish.) a foxtail removal in her abdomen (which caused an abcess to form but it's all taken care of and healed!) and her overall physical exam (which went great!)
As always her adoption fee also goes back into the care involved in the few months she has been with us, her grooming costs, and training we have personally done with her ❤️
