Siamese kittens & cats in Fairfield, Alabama

We adopted Cleo four years ago in Tennessee on the longest yard sale. She was neutered and we had her chipped. She has the most beautiful blue eyes. Very sweet and she loves our West Highland Terrier. They are best friends. Unfortunately due to our age and disability we are rehoming her and our calico cat but they do not have to be adopted together.

OK, get ready, because this is a sad story. Teresa came to St. Gertrude Rescue through a citizen who was concerned for her. She had been trying to catch Teresa for over 8 months, but Teresa always ran away. When she was finally caught, it was because she was extremely sick and malnourished. She came to SGR just skin and bones. While in rescue, her recovery has been very slow, she has constant diarrhea and has struggled to put on weight. Although she is feral, she is simply too weak to act on her feral instincts to run and hide from humans. She knows she needs us and we are here for her. While in the love and protection of SGR, Teresa enjoys watching her fish TV, eating good food, drinking clean water, and getting brushed daily. She is also getting the medical care she needs to hopefully return to full health soon. Teresa is about a year old and fully litter box trained. Here’s where things get interesting: Teresa is a Red Siamese, which in itself is unique. BUT, Teresa is also completely deaf! We can’t imagine how she survived in the wild, without being able to hear danger or a predator approaching. Because of this, we gave Teresa a box to snuggle in so she had all three sides of her protected at all times and she can see when others approach. This has made all the difference for her and we immediately saw improvement in her personality.

Mother Catherine had 7 beautiful babies born while in rescue on Memorial Day 2026. But her kindness didn’t end there, in addition to her 7, we asked her to care for an orphan (Carmen) who was a few days younger than her litter. She graciously accepted the little orphan as her own - in many ways even giving preferential treatment to her. Catherine is a gorgeous Seal Point Siamese who was turned into rescue by a concerned citizen when they found her wondering the streets, pregnant (we can’t have that). Catherine is a sweet, affectionate, protective mamma. She is also extremely bonded to her chosen human, and will snuggle into your lap for her belly rubs and chin scratches.

Some bonds are just too beautiful to break! Meet Jasmine and Madhu, a bonded mother and son. These are Friends of Rescue alumnus who, at no fault of their own, are in need of a new forever home TOGETHER. Jasmine is a gorgeous 6-year-old Tortie Point Siamese with silky white fur and beautiful moon-shaped markings on her ears. At 11 pounds, she's as sweet as she is beautiful. She greets you at the door with cheerful little "hellos," loves being brushed (everywhere!), enjoys being held, and absolutely melts for chin scratches. Jasmine is also a true Rock Star Mama Cat. When another foster couldn't care for her kittens, Jasmine stepped in and lovingly raised three adopted babies alongside her own three. Caring for others is simply who she is. Her son, Madhu, is a handsome 4-year-old with soft white fur and warm orange markings. He's a gentle, sensitive boy who takes a little time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he loves brushing, chin scratches, and quietly staying close to his favorite people. He'll always be his mama's boy—they even had their own special "coo" conversations that started when he was a kitten and continue even today. Together, they are the perfect pair. Jasmine is the social butterfly, while Madhu is the quiet observer. They balance each other beautifully, and their bond is something truly special. Jasmine and Madhu would do well with other cats, cat-friendly dogs, and respectful children.
