Story
5/10/23 birthday Barrett rescued as a small kitten. Has been in foster care and for adoption since a kitten. Hi! My name is Barrett. My foster family calls me Care Bear because I am so sweet and cuddly. I appreciate the little things in life, like amazon boxes and laundry baskets to sit and play in. I am playful but I never play too rough. I am a great companion for families with children, other kitties, and dogs.

Story
1) READ ENTIRE AD 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE, including COVID adjustments. 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end). 😻Adoptable😻 Sterling - 1 ½ year old blue point, siamese mix, male. This charming young fellow loves to perch himself on the highest points of his foster home, and show off his beauty, like a trophy. This trophy cat has a gorgeous gray and cream coat, and has striking, ocean blue eyes that will enjoy judging your life's choices from afar. And yes, he will be proud that he is probably the best life choice you’ve made. Sterling is an affectionate guy who will welcome you when you enter the door, and show you how much he’s missed you. He enjoys snuggle time on the couch, but is not clingy, and also likes his alone time. Sterling gets along with other cats, tolerates the presence of small dogs, but prefers not to engage with them, and he does well with older respectful children. His favorite pastime is to look out the window, sleep on the furniture, and to wrestle around with his foster brothers. -Sterling would do well in a multi-pet home with proper introduction. He needs another feline peer close to his age to play with because when he gets in play mode. He really gets enthusiastic about it! A quieter home would be ideal since loud noises tend to startle him, and he will hide. He would do well in a home with older cat savvy children. Whenever we post Siamese we get an onslaught of interest and applications but it’s very important that we get the right household dynamic fit for this particular cat. Apply below. ________________________________________________________ ****MEDICAL INFO:**** WE DO NOT CUT CORNERS WITH OUR CATS HEALTH NOR ONLY DO THE BARE MINIMUM REQUIRED BY LAW!!! We are a quality over quantity based rescue with our kittens health and your resident pet's health as a priority. We don't sacrifice quality health care for lower costs or hurrying to free up space in our program like other rescues and shelters do. We also use high quality food to nourish our kittens. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED by a PRIVATE veterinarian ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process You can fill out electronically or print out and take a picture of the application & send it via email, whichever is easiest for you. _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin, CA area, at Bark Avenue Rocklin or foster home. ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! Story
Oscar is a love bug snuggler with a lil sassy pants moments. His owner had to go into a home, so we took in this lil man to make sure he was snuggled. We have 5 other cats and he does not have a fighting bone in his body and not many brain cells, so he is on bottom of the totem poll with us. we need him to be the one and only type of guy so he can get all the attention and lab naps. Must be indoors only, he will not know what to do if put outside. House trained. He does have a sensitive tummy which we can't accommodate too. He is a shoulder cat.

Story
Hey there! My name is Minka and boy do I have a story to tell! To say I have been through a few things in my short little life is an UNDERSTATEMENT! See when I was very young, I was left at the animal shelter, a very scary place for any furry baby but even more so for a little one like me! The people there noticed my front foot was a bit “wonky” as were my elbows, but the nice doctor said I was born this way though I could have told them that! So, the people set out to find me a special place to help me and that’s how I arrived in rescue, and I was so grateful to be in a home! I quickly made friends with my foster mates and things seemed to be going great for me till I got sick with what my foster mom says is FIP. She was very very concerned about me since it used to be thought of as fatal, but she wasn’t willing to at least try. Well, I am very happy, as is my foster mom, to say the treatment worked and I am officially cleared, I even took a test to prove it, though not a fan of those whatsoever, even if the vet techs love on me! Mom says I am now ready for my own castle so here I am on the “love me” site! I am a very petite girl for my age, apparently, the 5-month kittens are bigger than me but that’s no bother! I am full of personality and spunk and mom says I like to share my opinions. I am good at doing almost everything the other fosters do and love to be loved. I would do best in a quiet home with a gentle friend who doesn’t mind an occasionally rambunctious gal (I love to skootch as quickly as possible around the house!) and a family who will be able to give me lots of love, oh and brushing, I like brushing! Hope to meet you soon! My foster mom says I am spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that’s good! I currently live with my foster family in Sacramento. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you’re my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Dayna at meandmyfosters@outlook.com If you are unable to reach Dayna please email info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
