Story
1) READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chica is all about having a good time! This energetic, speedy girl is always on the go and sometimes seems to have forgotten that kittens are supposed to stop and relax once in a while. 😹 Chica is very expressive—aka talkative—and definitely wants to make sure her opinions are heard. But what would you expect from a Siamese? She has plenty to say and isn’t shy about saying it! Chica loves playing with wand toys and romping around with the other cats, especially her BFF Pippi. When they finally decide it’s time to slow down, Chica and Pippi can often be found curled up together, napping in front of a sunny window. ❤️ Chica has also been known to chill on the couch with her siblings and foster family while watching TV. And when it comes to bedtime, she has excellent bed manners, just like her BFF Pippi. Chica is a fun, affectionate, entertaining little girl who would love a family that appreciates her playful personality, her Siamese “conversations,” and her big personality. 🐾 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ****HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER RESCUES/SHELTERS**** ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***Food Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We ‘ve been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***Post Adoption Support It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs. if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! ADOPTION FEES: See website- https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _______________________________________________________________ ****APPLICATION:**** For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located at the link below. You can fill out electronically or print out and take a picture of the application & send it via email, whichever is easiest for you. https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process

Story
Sweet and sassy is Miss Gigi. She loves to be brushed, belly rubs, and to snuggle on the couch. She is obsessed with her spring toys and will play catch and bring them back to you to toss. She loves her cat wheel and will show off how fast she can run. She loves to sit on the toilet while you shower, sit on the top of the fridge while you cook and talk to you with her sweet throaty meows and chirps. She grew up with a medium size mellow dog and loves to groom him, she will not do well with a high strung dog, and her brother and sister cat. However, she is getting beat up by both and lashing out to both, we have done everything possible, catios, Prozac, separating and reintroducing and it’s has become detrimental to her health and well being and with the heaviest heart I must rehome her so she can be the solo princess, absolutely no other cats. She will come with her fav toys, cat wheel and bed. Her birthday is 2/28/23

Story
Claire is 4 years old. She's a sweet shy timid girl. She needs a lot of patience to gain your trust. She will need to be acclimated in a small space before letting her roam around the house. She's litter box trained. Not treat driven but she will eat her treats when left in the bowl. She loves tall cat trees and likes to hide under things. Her favorite toys are the crinkle toys, balls, string, and her favorite grey blanket. She loves to scratch, I had at least 5 cardboard post spread around the house. She's most active at night and sleeps in the day
