386-972-9098. ADOPT PIPER! A seal point Siamese cat who needs a stable and loving home! This adoption is NOT through Furry Nation Salvation and is a Courtesy Post. Please call the individual listed below with any further questions or to set up a time to meet the pet. Thank you. Please call/text this number if interested: 3869729098 Cat located in this city:palatka Cats Name: Piper Cats Age & Sex: 6 years. Female Cats vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): spayed. Rabies vax. No microchip Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): she is originally from Tallahassee fl. She is a beautiful Siamese and she attaches to a person and loves to cuddle when she is feeling safe. She doesnt get along with other cats, and she is needing to be rehome due to personal reasons. We hope to find her a STABLE and loving inside only home please. Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Piper Likes to knead on her human and cuddle on legs during nap time. She can be shy until she feels comfortable with someone. Not good with other cats but good with dogs! Loves treats and head scratches and butt pats. She just wants to be loved. Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): toys and food. What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): dry and wet food. Purinaone. Chicken in gravy. :::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry foodand ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this). :::::::::::: More info here: FurryNationSalvation.Org/wetfood IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT: 1) Please show up with a cat carrier 2) Small adoption fee of: $20 3) I will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well 4) Please show up with your Driver's License. 5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine) *Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you. (407) 536-0624 ELLA, a 4 year old Lynx Point Siamese female cat needs a new home! Owner is elderly annd can no longer care for her. We hope to help find her an amazing new home. Ella is so beautiful too! Please see her video. Located in Orlando, FL (407) 536-0624 call this number directly if interested in Ella! Ella is a vocal Siamese cat who likes being picked up by her owner and loves attention. At first, she could be a little shy. She is eating dry food only, but we explained how important giving wet food is daily to avoid any medical issues like kidney disease, Urinary tract issues linked to litter box issues, and weight gain. Cats get the bulk of their water needs from their food so wet food (75 % moisture) is better for them! Dry food is only 10 % moisture. More on wet food here: FurryNationSalvation.org/wetfood Ella is spayed and vaccinated. Here is a video of her on YouTube. If you cant see it here please copy and paste this link into your browser https://youtube.com/shorts/dEnVgA93TLY?is=m3Z8SMDTYeYz3zNz 1). If you want to adopt: please show up with a cat carrier! Plastic cat carriers are more secure and more comfortable than soft ones. 2) Adoption fee of $10 3) when you get her home -please allow her to adjust in a very small room like a bathroom. This way you create a safe spot for her to adjust in!! Cats adjust much quicker too. 4) if you decide to adopt and it doesnt work out- you can contact original owner OR OUR rescue, has a free rehoming assistance program to help rehome any pet like we are helping this lady here. **This is a courtesy post-and not through our rescue Furry Nation Salvation- please call Ellas current owner if interested! 407-536-0624 #cats #orlando #adoptdontshop #furrynationrehomingprogram #siamesecatsafe

Story
Rusty originally came to us because he was dumped, in a carrier with a red Chistmas ball attached to it, at Pet Supermarket. He was discovered near closing time. He was adopted. A year later I got a frantic call from his adopted yelling that she spent $350 at a vet( that we did not recommend), she was done with him. I told her to meet me at my vet with him now. When I arrived, the entire staff was already upset with owner. Rusty was in a room and owner already signed paperwork to have him put down. He was given the 1st of 2 injections. Owner put him in my arms and left. Like left the building, left the parking lot. I looked into his eyes. I could not do this. I was in tears. He was not ready to leave. I called my rescue sisters for advise. Rusty had a urinary blockage. Owner had recently had him shaved. ( It was winter!!!) In some cats, intense, ongoing stress can cause physical issues. That was the case for Rusty. My rescue sisters and I were all in agreement, if our vet could reverse the 1st shot we'd do whatever it took to heal his body and heart. I never ran so fast to get one if the vet techs yo take Rusty in the back to the vet to begin healing him. He was in the hospital 3 days and reblocked. We took him back. I rang in the New Year with Rusty at Veterinary Emergency Center of East Volusia 2023. He has since been in a loving home but due to owner health issues he needs to find a new home. He is exceptionally loving and affectionate, has not had any health issues but is not fond of dogs. Story
We would like to introduce the handsome Chaney. This beautiful boy is just a year old and was trapped outside earlier this year. He had a bad case of pillow foot and was doing well. He wasn’t sure if he liked people, but was not healthy enough to put back outside. He also needed months of medication to heal his foot. Chaney took his medicine and one day decided he likes people. That like turned to love and he’s an absolutely loveable boy now. You can carry him around like a baby and he won’t complain! Chaney’s pillow foot has healed up, but he has extreme weakness in that leg. The leg seems to collapse when he walks, but he can jump and climb and run just fine. Last week, Chaney was struggling to pee and it turns out he was blocked. His foster rushed him to the emergency vet and they were thankfully able to unblock him without surgery. He has to eat canned urinary food now. At his follow up appointment, it was also discovered that Chaney is diabetic 😭 This guy can’t catch a break! He is on twice daily insulin now and gets that after he eats his two daily meals of canned urinary food. To say Chaney is an investment cat might be an understatement - but he is so worth it 😻🥹 This poor cat never would have made it outside and deserves to be healthy, loved, and safe inside.
