Story
Tsireya is a quiet, deeply gentle cat, who came to us after her owner entered hospice care. She and her sister Neytiri have been together 12 years and we’d love them to stay together. Both were declawed prior to coming to PAWS. She typically slept in bed with her owners and loved perching on chairs and on top of her cat tree. Tsireya’s owner describes her as calm, vocal, shy, independent, playful and curious. Asked what he thinks her ideal home would be, he wrote, “Loving, safe, endearing, communication and music. Talk to her. Love her.”

Story
“Talk to her. Rub her ears and belly…have music playing.” Neytiri’s surrender form is full of advice on how to love and care for this beautiful 12-year-old cat. Known as Indie to her people, Neytiri and her sister Tsireya, both declawed, were recently surrendered because one of their owners has entered hospice and the other is in the process of having to leave behind their longtime home. Neytiri loves to play with cat toys and balls. She and her sister slept in bed with their owners. She loves to nap on window perches and under furniture. She’s described as cam, friendly, cuddly, dependent, clingy and curious. She’s also confident, according to her paperwork. Neytiri and Tsireya are deeply bonded and reliant on one another for comfort and confidence after 12 years together. They would integrate seamlessly into a new home together, especially a quiet adult home. Neytiri’s former owner writes, “Please handle Indie with two hands, she is chunky.” Her best fit in terms of a new home, he writes, would be “quiet, safe, caring, communication, have music playing.

She’s the definition of “easy.” A chill, gentle kitty who’s perfectly content to nap in a sunny spot, enjoy her meals, and offer quiet companionship. Story
Ghost and Phantom are bonded, formerly feral cats that have been living on our porch in East Point, GA for over a year. Ghost is female, long-haired, maybe 2-years-old. Phantom is male, shorter-haired with dark markings and is maybe over a year old. They were part of Fulton County's TNR program, so are spayed/neutered and vaccinated. We had been feeding them without contact until a few months ago, when both Ghost and Phantom started letting us pet them and would meow excitedly at our presence. They rarely left our porch. They would bring us "hunting gifts", which is when we decided to see how they would do indoors. After a lifetime of living outside and fending for their lives, it took a few months, but we convinced them to come in and they are adjusting nicely to humans and domesticity. We think it would be best for Ghost and Phantom to be adopted together, as they are best friends and don't act the same when the other is not around. They are so sweet and we are glad they are safe!
