Story
HOPE — The Cross-Eyed Lovebug & Little Miracle Personality: Affectionate • Ultra-Confident • Gentle • Smart • Purr Machine Hope’s story is nothing short of legendary. She was trapped inside a church, completely ignored by the owners, tiny, scared, and alone. For 48 long hours, we weren’t able to reach her. But with persistence, teamwork, and a whole community turning over every stone imaginable, we finally opened a tiny hole and brought her to safety. And it was worth every second — because out came a tiny baby miracle who has never stopped spreading love and joy. Hope has a slightly cross-eyed gaze that makes her impossible not to adore. Her soft, cirpy little meow is a far cry from the terrified cries she used while trapped, and her stunning eyes follow you everywhere, giving slow blinks of trust and affection. Like all the Little Legends, she is a non-stop purring machine, a bundle of warmth and love wherever she goes. Hope is a cuddle-obsessed, social butterfly. She makes friends instantly, with humans, kittens, and cats alike, and will happily join any cuddle puddle, including laps that already have kittens snuggled in them. She particularly adores Jane, always playing and napping together, sharing warmth and love. She will follow you everywhere, curling up beside you, on your chest, or next to your neck, and she especially loves cozy heated beds like Zoy’s soft pad. Despite being tiny, Hope is fearlessly confident and gentle. She keeps up with playtime effortlessly, wrestling with even the largest kittens who are double her size. She loves kisses — both giving and receiving — and her affectionate head bumps and purrs will melt your heart. She is also super smart, a pro at food puzzles, endlessly curious, and mesmerized by cat TV, which she can watch for hours. Hope even enjoyed her Christmas photoshoot, making friends, purring, and giving head bumps to everyone she met — clearly showing she was born to charm the world. Why She’s a Little Legend Hope survived impossible odds and emerged as a grateful, affectionate, playful, and incredibly smart kitten. She embodies the true spirit of the Little Legends: resilient, loving, joyful, and endlessly entertaining. Her cross-eyed charm, gentle confidence, and unwavering affection make her completely unforgettable. If you’re ready for a kitten who will purr, cuddle, wrestle, give kisses, play smart games, mesmerize you with cat TV, make friends instantly, charm everyone with head bumps, and fill your heart with joy every day, Hope is your miraculous little lovebug. Hope is estimated to be 3 mo old as of Dec 26 2025 and fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped. He tested negative for FIV, FeLV and heartworms. Check out more photos and videos of Hope here: Silvia Photo Album Hope is a kitten and must be adopted with one of her siblings, foster friends, or into a home with another young or playful cat for companionship. She really loves his foster sister Dian but he will quickly make friends with any kitty! Here is some information about why we have this policy: Two kittens are better than one For a pair of kittens we apply a $25 discount from each adoption fee. Story
Reese was acquired as a young kitten in North Carolina and has been raised in a home environment where he has learned to be comfortable around people and everyday household routines. He is still young (around 2 years) and has plenty of playful energy, curiosity, and affection to give. Reese has a gentle, sweet personality and enjoys attention on his own terms. He’s affectionate, observant, and smart, and he does well in a calm, patient home where he can feel secure and loved. He would thrive with someone who understands cats and is willing to give him time to settle in and bond. I am looking for a stable, loving home where Reese will be a valued part of the family and receive consistent care, attention, and enrichment. His well-being and long-term happiness are the top priority. Adjectives to describe Reese: sweet, curious, affectionate, gentle, playful, and intelligent.

Story
Tofu is as sweet as can be with beautiful blue eyes! She is happy and playful. She is fixed, good with other cats, and children. She has never had any accidents and is even electric self-cleaning litterbox trained. She will cuddle with you at night and snuggle with you on the couch. She is very quiet and only meows when she wants to be held! She is good with both women and men and will snuggle with you whenever you have a bad day or feel stressed! I sadly have to move since I was laid off and cannot take her with me. I must be gone by March 2026 and I do not want to give her to a shelter! She is too special and has such a lively personality! I can also give you her small carrier and a hide-away litterbox cabinet.

Story
Hi, my name is Gingerbread, and I'm a 1 year old seal point Siamese boy kitty. I was surrendered to the shelter with my best friend, Peppermint, and I really hope we can be adopted together. I am FIV+, which means I need to be an inside kitty, and while I can be around other cats, it's important that we get along. I already get along GREAT with Peppermint, so if you're looking for two kitties, we are a perfect set! I have a deep purr and love to be loved! I am pretty relaxed and chill, with a good-natured manner and a friendly personality. I really miss having a home, so I hope my REAL furever family finds me soon!     The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    December 12, 2025, 9:07 pm
