A friend of our director reached out because multiple kitties had been dumped at her property in Wilmington. We took in 12 cats and they have all been vetted, spayed/neutered.  Seth is a handsome flamepoint siamese - friendly and sweet. Great with other kitties and happy to be safe inside. He scratched his eye when we first got him and it is so much better now. He was adopted out but the resident cat just was not a fan....so he is back with us looking for his forever human! Born likely late spring of 2024, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv. Adoption fee $75 or 2 for $125. This little cutie escaped from her home and sadly the owners could not take her back for personal health reasons. She has lived outside for awhile! She was timid at first, and still is not very brave. However, she loves to be petted and is getting more brave every day! She is just squishy cute!! She has pretty blue eyes and is plush like a bunny. Currently fostered with other cats and does just fine. She would likely prefer a quiet household. Meet Sage a darling Lynx point Siamese mix who is estimated to be two years old being born around February of 2023. She was found wondering the streets near a local rescuers home. She was quickly brought in and vetted. Sage is up to date on her vaccinations, Spayed, Microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FELV. She loves attention and to be around people. She does do well with most other cats, however there have been a few who seem to stress her out. We feel she would do best in a home with 1-2 other cats only. Sage loves weaving in/out of your legs! Feline Leukemia PositiveWe are partnering with Tri-State Noah Project (TSNP) in an effort to help London find her forever home. This young lady is ready for her forever home! London is obviously stunning, but she’s so much more than that. She looks like royalty (and sometimes acts it, too) but what she really wants is to enjoy the simple things in life with you- sitting in your lap being adored, watching birds and other critters from the window, and playing with her favorite twist tie (because a better toy has never been invented). If you’re into yoga and exercise, she’s here for it! She’s an excellent partner for stretching and will happily sit on your belly or back while encouraging you to keep it up just a little bit longer. London loves being with people, but she’s pretty independent as well. She doesn’t get pushy for attention and is more than happy to do her own thing when you’re busy. She wants to bask in all the love, so she’d probably be happiest as the only kitty in your home. However if there are enough laps and food bowls to go around, she can peacefully coexist with another cat. She’s currently rooming with another kitty at her foster home and they get along pretty well (if you might be interested in providing a loving home for 2 kitties, London’s roommate is also available!) London is FeLV positive so should be kept solo or with other positive kitties only. She is doing well despite her diagnosis and is on a supplement we’ve used with many cats to great success. We recommend she remain on this supplement after adoption to give her the best chance at a long, happy life with you. FeLV is potentially contagious to other cats but not to people or other animals. London was infected with FeLV after the person who was supposed to love her kicked her out of her home because they thought she might be pregnant (and she was still a kitten herself!) London is only about a year and a half old and we hope will live many more joyful years with your love and care. Estimated to be around 5–7 years old, Anakin is a strikingly handsome Siamese mix with a heart as big as his meow. He first showed up outside his foster’s home and was originally trapped for TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), but it quickly became clear that Anakin was far too friendly for life on the streets. True to his Siamese roots, Anakin is a talkative guy who loves to chat—especially when you say his name! He adores attention and will dramatically flop onto his side for pets, making it impossible not to fall in love. During his vet visit, he kneaded his way into everyone’s hearts—literally—by making biscuits the whole time.
