Story
A friend of our director reached out because multiple kitties had been dumped at her property in Wilmington. We took in 12 cats and they have all been vetted, spayed/neutered.  Seth is a handsome flamepoint siamese - friendly and sweet. Great with other kitties and happy to be safe inside. He scratched his eye when we first got him and it is so much better now. He was adopted out but the resident cat just was not a fan....so he is back with us looking for his forever human! Born likely late spring of 2024, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv. Adoption fee $75 or 2 for $125. He needs to be adopted with one of his buddies or in a home with other kitties (that will appreciate him!). Local adoptions only (Cincinnati) Here is our application http://purrfectfriendscatrescue.org/adoptform.htmlApril 18, 2025, 4:52 pm

Story
This little cutie escaped from her home and sadly the owners could not take her back for personal health reasons. She has lived outside for awhile! She was timid at first, and still is not very brave. However, she loves to be petted and is getting more brave every day! She is just squishy cute!! She has pretty blue eyes and is plush like a bunny. Currently fostered with other cats and does just fine. She would likely prefer a quiet household. Born probably the summer of 2022, she is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv. Adoption fee $60. Story
Meet Sage a darling Lynx point Siamese mix who is estimated to be two years old being born around February of 2023. She was found wondering the streets near a local rescuers home. She was quickly brought in and vetted. Sage is up to date on her vaccinations, Spayed, Microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FELV. She loves attention and to be around people. She does do well with most other cats, however there have been a few who seem to stress her out. We feel she would do best in a home with 1-2 other cats only. Sage loves weaving in/out of your legs! Her adoption fee is $60 and applications can be found at: Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue AdoptApril 25, 2025, 4:34 pm

Story
Mortimer may be a little shy at first, but give him a moment and you’ll see his true colors shine through. Once he knows you’re safe, he blossoms into a loving, affectionate companion who craves attention and cuddles. This handsome guy has had a rough start—he spent time outside where he was often picked on by other cats. Because of that, he’s understandably cautious in new situations. But don’t let that scare you off—Mortimer is all heart. He just wants to feel safe and loved. Mortimer has tested positive for FIV but keep reading: FIV is only transmitted through deep blood-drawing bite wounds. FIV+ cats can happy lives in socialized multi-cat households. FIV+ cats do not have a higher incidence of illness, and live the same lifespan as non FIV+ cats. Adoption fee is $100

Story
Tuna is 100% feral. He has lived indoors since he was a kitten but is basically a ghost…you might see flashes of him on occasion, and he enjoys moving his water bowl around, so you will have small reminders of his existence.   Tuna coexists with people and other pets with no problem as long as no humans reach for him. He does like having animal companions and is also curious about children. Adults scare the daylights out of him. We suspect an adult may not have been kind to him when he was a very young kitten.   He is litter box trained, although he has a habit of kicking litter out of his box and then pooping in the pile he has made just outside the box. We simply keep a large plastic tray under his litter box for easy cleanup.   Thus far, Tuna has been uncooperative for vet care and will bite staff. He is up to date on vaccines and healthy at this time, but your vet should be aware that he must be sedated in his carrier like a feral cat prior to handling. March 25, 2025, 9:16 pm
