Siamese kittens & cats in Holyoke, Massachusetts

Meet this sweet little lady, Diamond! She loves to lounge around, soak up the good life, and keep you company. She also likes other cats. Most of the time she’s a laid-back little couch potato, but every now and then she decides it’s time for some zoomies and mischief! Diamond is indifferent to children with good pet manners   She’s looking for a forever home where she can relax, make friends, and occasionally remind everyone that she’s still got a little sass. ##2833422##

Kimmie (lilac point) and Kara (snowshoe). Bonded sisters. Kimmie is shy and standoffish. She is slow to warm but is sweet. Kara is shy at first but loves pets on the back of her neck and cheeks. Kara was born with a birth defect so her back "ankles" (calcaneus) are turned in close together. She can walk, run, and jump onto short surfaces. She needs help getting on high surfaces and will need placed down on the floor after holding her. She can't be dropped like the typical cat or she might not land on her feet. She also prisses when she walks. Neither cat likes being picked up but Kara will tolerate it at times for brief moments. This means, over time, she will become comfortable with being held.  ##2812846##

About Spirit cats: Spirit Cats are great companions for a resident cat...but they take people on their own terms! They are cats who live with you, and who may sometimes grant you the opportunity to touch them. Or, they may not. Here’s what to expect with these special cats: These cats WILL: - They’re great with other cats! They are used to living with many cats, and are excellent companions for other cats. - Over time, they will most likely get used to one or two people who will be allowed to touch them. They may choose to hang out near you, or sleep on the bed with you at night. - They are a great choice for patient, kind people with a quiet household, who want to make a difference for an individual cat – one that few people have the patience to help. - They are a fine choice for situations where you don’t have a lot of time to devote to a pet – most of these kitties do not need or want much attention from people. These cats WILL NOT: - They will not magically turn into normal acting cats; what you see is what they will be like for a long time, maybe always. Some will change more than others, but be prepared for what you see now. - They will not be a good choice for busy homes. - They will not be a good choice for homes with children.

Meet Dusty 🌫️Dusty is a beautiful 2-year-old Siamese currently living in a loving foster home. Though she has a bit of a medical history, she is doing well with daily medication to prevent seizures of unknown origin. Despite this, Dusty is still young at heart and has a playful, curious personality. She enjoys batting around toys and exploring her surroundings, always ready for her next little adventure. Dusty also appreciates the company of other respectful cats; she may take a moment to observe before joining in, but she generally does well with calm, cat-savvy friends. She is also okay as an only pet. She loves to sleep in the sun. This sweet girl enjoys gentle attention and likes being petted — especially when she’s in the mood — before she’s off again to see what’s happening around her. Dusty would do best in a patient, understanding home that is comfortable managing her medication using a pill popper and can appreciate her independent yet affectionate nature.Dusty has cataracts and has limited vision. No young children who would approach her too quickly. The foster always talks to her so she knows where you are. Have her smell your hand from the side of her face before petting her so that she doesn't get startled. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Select cats can be fostered instead! Apply on our website.A cat's behavior in the shelter may not be what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat. Most often, in a home, they thrive!Kitten Policy: Kittens must be able to socialize with other young cats or dogs as playmates, as it is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we do not place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet all cats or kittens available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/

Pearl is a (almost) 3 yo Siamese Lynx Point. She is energetic, playful little goofball, very social and curious. the kids often compared her to Nosy Smurf "whats going on here?" Pearl and Mitzi have been together since they were kittens, we would like them to go together. They recieved all of thier shots including thier first round for rabies when they were spayed (around 3 months I think) but they did not get the rabies booster. This pet is part of a bonded pair!https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/49516371-turners-falls-massachusetts-cat
