Meet Meladie! She loves being pet, and once she is comfortable with you she may stretch out on your chest! She is a huge cuddle bug, and will snuggle with you under your blanket to try to steal all your warmth! She isn't a big fan of sharing the covers, but her cuteness makes up for it! She has lived with another cat, dogs, and kids in the past, so with a slow introduction she would likely do well with a big family in her next home. She would appreciate some time and patience to allow her to settle in, but once she is comfortable her true personality shines! Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Ready to Adopt? Beautiful flame point Siamese 2-1/2 years old. Takes time to warm up but is affectionate once she settles in. Very sweet but timid at first. Azul is a stud muffin of a big boy cat. We don’t know what is bigger – his beautiful blue eyes or his enormous round head. We estimate him to weigh around 15 lbs and believe he is around 5-6 years old. Azul was found roaming a neighborhood along the Texas Mexico border, where a good Samaritan saw him and knew she had to help him. He was super scrawny, covered in fleas, tons of missing hair and scabs all over his body. After about 6 weeks, Azul is fully healed, all of his hair has grown back, and he is ready for his forever home. Despite his age, he is very playful and active. We do not recommend very young children with him as he can play a little bit rough at times. Azul is in a foster home where he is around other cats and dogs. Even though he is big, he gets along wonderfully with other cats! He has met dogs in the current foster home and has no issues with them. He can live happily with other dogs and cats in the home! Azul would love to be a lap cat and be loved on everyday and all day. He does NOT mark. Azul is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and given a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption/transport.
