Story
Meet Jewel    Jewel is a stunning 2-year-old Siamese mix with soulful blue eyes and a voice she loves to use. True to her Siamese roots, she is very vocal and highly communicative—Jewel will happily “talk” to you about her day and let you know exactly how she’s feeling.   She is incredibly affectionate and loving. While she tolerates being picked up, Jewel much prefers close cuddles where she can relax and feel secure. Her favorite toys are simple but fun: ponytails and jingly balls are guaranteed to keep her entertained.   Jewel does have some special needs that require an experienced, committed adopter. She struggles with separation anxiety and nighttime vocalization, so she needs a calm, understanding home where someone is around often. She also has a severe poultry allergy and must remain on a hypoallergenic, vet-approved diet.   Jewel is a gentle, well-mannered girl who truly just wants love and companionship.   Her ideal home would be with an older owner who is home frequently and/or a household with another friendly cat to help keep her company. With the right family, Jewel will be an incredibly devoted, affectionate companion.   If you’re looking for a loving, talkative cat who bonds deeply with her people, Jewel may be your perfect match.  ##2188825##

Story
Dusty is about 10 months old and is a sweet girl! She also takes medication to prevent seizures of an unknown cause. She is looking for that special adopter who can help her stay calm and ideally prevent future episodes. Since the cause is unknown, we suggest she be in a quieter household without young children. We also think she would be okay with a friendly, gentle cat or dog who are introduced slowly and carefully. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Select cats can be fostered instead! Apply on our website.A cat's behavior in the shelter may not be what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat. Most often, in a home, they thrive!Kitten Policy: Kittens must be able to socialize with other young cats or dogs as playmates, as it is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we do not place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet all cats or kittens available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/

Story
🧺✨ Meet Lint Ball — The Best Thing You’ll Ever Pick Up While Cleaning ✨🧺 Sometimes, while sweeping up life’s little messes, you find a real treasure — and that treasure is Lint Ball. This handsome Siamese boy found himself at animal control in Uvalde alongside his sister, Dust Bunny. Though a bit scared at first, Lint Ball showed everyone just how sweet and loving he truly is. Lint Ball is the definition of cozy. His favorite place to be? Curled up right in your lap, purring like a top-tier appliance that never shuts off. When he’s not snuggling, he’s busy having epic rough-and-tumble play sessions with his sister — proof that even the softest lint balls can be full of energy. This gentle boy is affectionate, playful, and overflowing with charm. He’d love a home where cuddles are part of the daily routine and where he has a feline buddy to wrestle, nap, and grow up with. If your house could use a little more warmth, a lot more purring, and a companion who sticks around in all the best ways, Lint Ball is ready to roll right into your life. Don’t worry — this is one Lint Ball you’ll never want to clean up. 🐾💕
