Meet Xena-Quiet Beauty Seeking a Patient Forever Home! The adoption application can be found here:https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/CatXena is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route.Xena is a gorgeous Lynx Point Siamese with a gentle soul and a sweet personality, She can be a little timid when first meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment, but with a little patience and understanding, she blossoms into a loving companion. While Xena is okay with other cats, she prefers not to be in the middle of all the action and would be happiest in a home with few or no cats, where she can have her own space.Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate nature begins to shine, and she enjoys spending time with the people she trusts. Xena is looking for a calm, loving home where she can settle in at her own pace and build a strong bond with her new family. If you're searching for a sweet, gentle companion who will reward your patience with love and loyalty, Xena may be the perfect match.Xena is spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is his forever home!Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens, siblings, or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here:http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens---ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! To learn more about our TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) efforts, please follow us onInstagram @roses_rescues_htx

Story
Meet Emmi, a gorgeous one-year-old Siamese with a stunning coat and striking blue eyes. This beautiful girl was found as a stray in the Bronx. The original plan was to TNR her — which is why she has an ear tip — but once she showed how friendly she could be, it was clear she deserved the chance to find a furever home instead. Emmi is independent, playful, curious, and full of sass. Once she settles in and warms up, she loves exploring her surroundings and being part of the action. She enjoys attention on her own terms and has a big personality to match her beauty. Like many cats, Emmi can be particular about how much affection she wants at a time and may give “love bites” when she’s had enough. Because of this, she would do best in an home with teens or up, or with cat-savvy adopters who understand feline boundaries. She also does not seem to be a fan of other kitties. Emmi is looking for a patient home that will appreciate her spirited personality and let her blossom at her own pace. In return, you’ll get a gorgeous, entertaining companion with plenty of character and charm. Her adoption fee is $225 and Emmi is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. If you're interested in this gorgeous girl, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Azul is a stud muffin of a big boy cat. We don’t know what is bigger – his beautiful blue eyes or his enormous round head. We estimate him to weigh around 15 lbs and believe he is around 5-6 years old. Azul was found roaming a neighborhood along the Texas Mexico border, where a good Samaritan saw him and knew she had to help him. He was super scrawny, covered in fleas, tons of missing hair and scabs all over his body. After about 6 weeks, Azul is fully healed, all of his hair has grown back, and he is ready for his forever home. Despite his age, he is very playful and active. He loves to be around people and loves to play with his toys. Cuddling is one of his favorite things. Azul is in a foster home where he is around other cats and dogs. Even though he is big, he gets along wonderfully with other cats! He has met dogs in the current foster home and has no issues with them. He can live happily with other dogs and cats in the home! Azul would love to be a lap cat and be loved every day and all day. He does NOT mark. Azul is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and given a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption/transport. PLEASE READ ABOUT AZUL: Azul is a sweet, gentle soul who has recently tested positive for FIV. This means he needs an indoor-only home where he can be pampered and live a long, healthy life. FIV-positive cats are often the most affectionate! Azul is a total lovebug who is looking for a cozy spot to nap and a family to love. Don't let FIV scare you — it's just a label, not a limitation! He is a very healthy boy that you would not even know had FIV if not for the test. Most cats don’t show symptoms! Please consider reading some facts about FIV and let us know if you would still like to be considered for his adoption. Azul is ready to bring joy to your home. We look forward to hearing back from you. Here are some facts and information to help you learn about FIV: FIV is Not a Death Sentence: FIV is a slow-acting virus that affects a cat's immune system, not a death sentence. Many FIV+ cats live long, normal lives (10-15+ years) and never show symptoms. Perfectly Safe for Families: FIV is not transmissible to humans, dogs, or other non-feline pets. Debunking Myths About Transmission of FIV: Casual Contact is Safe: Contrary to popular belief, FIV is not spread through litter boxes, water bowls, or grooming. Mainly Spreads Through Fighting: The virus is primarily passed through deep, penetrating bite wounds, usually among unneutered, aggressive strays. Safe to Live with Negative Cats: In a stable, non-aggressive home, FIV+ cats can live peacefully with FIV-negative cats. https://www.awlnsw.com.au/find-out-more-about-adopting-an-fiv-cat/ https://bestfriends.org/pet-care-resources/fiv-cats-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-faqs Prior to adopting him, he will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. His adoption fee is $495 – No additional fees. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, Enfield, New Haven and Dayville, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.

Story
Dearest Gentle Readers,The ton has been abuzz with anticipation, and it is with the utmost delight that this author brings you the latest, most splendid news from the nursery of Sophia L’Orange Kitten Rescue. It seems a certain young gentleman is officially prepared to make his grand debut into society.Allow me to introduce **Master Brimsley**. While he may be somewhat petite in stature, do not let his modest proportions deceive you. This dashing fellow possesses a personality grand enough to rival the most commanding dukes of the realm. He is, by all accounts, an absolute scoundrel for affection—a total cuddle bug who simply cannot receive a sufficient amount of petting. Should you find yourself otherwise occupied, Master Brimsley has a delightful, if slightly forward, habit of riding upon one's shoulders, ensuring he always maintains the best vantage point in the house.Yet, a gentleman is nothing without his loyalties. Master Brimsley is fiercely devoted to his beautiful sister, Miss Francesca, and the two share a bond that is truly the envy of the season. It appears that Mayfair’s most enchanting duo has declared themselves completely inseparable. So please allow me to present Miss Francesca and Lord Brimsley—a bonded pair of such exquisite sweetness that they are certain to capture the hearts of the entire court. * **Their Incomparable Virtues**  Should you find yourself wishing to secure their favor, you must know that their requirements are delightfully simple, yet profoundly affectionate: * **The Ultimate Lap Kittens:** They view a warm lap not as a luxury, but as their rightful throne. They shall happily spend their afternoons curled in your presence, purring in perfect harmony. * **Universal Affection:** Scandalous though it may seem to the more aloof members of their species, Francesca and Brimsley harbor no prejudices. They love every human they encounter, and extend the warmest of greetings to every fellow feline they meet. ```                       THE DETAILS AT A GLANCE+| Gentleman's Name| Master Brimsley                               +| Disposition| Affectionate shoulder-rider & premier cuddler  |+| Medical Standing| Neutered & completely up-to-date on vaccines   +| Health Status| Tested negative for FIV/FeLV              ```**A Note from the Author:** Master Brimsley has been thoroughly vetted by the finest physicians, successfully passing his procedures and testing negative for the dreaded FIV and FeLV ailments. They are entirely ready to capture the heart of a permanent guardian. One only wonders which fortunate household will secure the most charming purrfect match of the year.  Please understand, Brimsley is part of a bonded pair.  Please do not apply if you aren't in love with both! Yours Truly,**Lady Whistledown**   As a general rule, we recommend that young kittens only go in pairs or to households that already have another pet. Young kittens on their own, no matter how much attention they get from humans, usually get bored and tend to be more destructive.  They need another animal to help socialize them (to learn how to appropriately wrestle, boundaries, etc).  Most times having another cat is the best, though some may be okay with a gentle dog.  Brimsley and Francesca need to go together. You can see more pictures and videos of our fosters on our facebook page:  Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet. ##2732707##

Story
Yara is a beautiful Lynx Point Mix (Siamese/Tabby). She has beautiful shades of cream & grey with blue eyes. She joined the Chance at Life family on September 21, 2023, from a municipal shelter. She originally came from a hoarding situation in Westwood, NJ. Yara has been a work in progress, she is very shy. She needs someone who can routinely dedicate time to spend with her one on one, whether that is a foster home or furever home. She will sniff your finger but is not a fan of being touched (although once in a while you can). Yara does not like treats but likes catnip! She plays by herself and prefers string toys. Yara lives with other cats and may do well in a home with another cat providing proper introductions are done. An adult home with no young children would be best for her. Approximate DOB 09/09/2020 Up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. If you live in a parent or guardian's home, they must complete the application. An application does not guarantee an adoption. Our cats and kittens are not adopted on a first come, first served basis, but whom we feel would be the best fit for our cats and kittens. If interested, please e-mail us at Chanceatliferescue@gmail.com or download an application from our website http://www.chanceatlifecatrescue.com
