Story
Meet Pepper! Pepper is a 2 year old male Siamese/Tabby. This animal is coming up on a transport to the NYC Area THIS Saturday, April 27th and is looking for a foster home to go into. There are multiple shelters down south that are overcrowded and Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue partners with these shelters to move the animals into foster homes in the North East before they are adopted into their forever family homes. What does it mean to be a foster? The first, and most important, responsibility is to provide a caring and safe home environment. There are some very specific guidelines that we will share with you that will keep everyone safe and healthy. From basic food and water, quarantine periods, and where you can or cannot take your foster, our Foster Handbook and Foster Mentors are fantastic resources. Depending on what type of animal you're fostering, you'll need some things in advance. These items may include a crate, puppy pads, or food and water bowls but we have a large foster network that helps share supplies! Louie's Legacy will pay for full vetting, spay or neuter surgery, and all approved medical or behavioral treatments. By fostering a dog or cat...YOU are MAKING a DIFFERENCE! Every pet deserves saving! Let's not leave any behind! Apply to foster today! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/LOUE/Dog *Please note that the pet you are interested in may not be available by the time we receive your application. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible and to be open to helping other animals in need.

Story
Mom and 4 kittens - They're hoping to hitch a ride to NY on 5/11 to find their forever home! We do not have any other info besides they are all very friendly. We are looking for fosters and will prioritize your application if you are looking to adopt. Kittens are old enough to be separated from mom so they do not need to go together. You MUST be able to receive them straight from the transport van on 5/11 as we do not have a physical shelter and our animals go straight into foster homes. Please visit waggytailrescue.org and fill out a foster application if you are interested.  Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable cat, or final size of any of our adoptable kittens. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the cat into our rescue. ##2035860##

Story
Sissy is a Siamese mix with stunning blue eyes & was rescued from outdoor life. She loves to be inside. She also loves to be held, pet & brushed. She is good with respectful dogs and other cats. She has chronic lung disease- will need to be monitored. She had pneumonia and lung worm and responded well to treatment. She has mild asthma like symptoms but is maintaining well. She is also having her remaining teeth removed due to extreme dental disease so her tongue will always stick out. Her ideal home would be laid back and easy going.
