Story
Meet Luke! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Luke is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. Luke is a stunning Siamese cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Affectionate and people-oriented, he loves being around his humans and is always ready for pets, attention, and companionship. This handsome boy has a playful side and especially enjoys wrestling and chasing around with his foster sibling, Praline (M) who is also available for adoption. Luke is confident and tends to be on the more dominate side with other cats, so he may do best with a feline friend who appreciates his leadership style. One of Luke's most charming qualities is how dog-like he is. He enjoys being involved in whatever you're doing, follows his people around, and thrives on interaction. Whether he's playing, supervising household activities, or curling up for affection, Like wants to be part of the family. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion with plenty of personality, Luke may be the perfect match for you. Luke is an neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! Luke does great with other rough and tumble cats or would do great with a cat friendly dog. Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens, siblings, or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Xena is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. Xena is a gorgeous Lynx Point Siamese with a gentle soul and a sweet personality, She can be a little timid when first meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment, but with a little patience and understanding, she blossoms into a loving companion. While Xena is okay with other cats, she prefers not to be in the middle of all the action and would be happiest in a home with few or no cats, where she can have her own space. Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate nature begins to shine, and she enjoys spending time with the people she trusts. Xena is looking for a calm, loving home where she can settle in at her own pace and build a strong bond with her new family. If you're searching for a sweet, gentle companion who will reward your patience with love and loyalty, Xena may be the perfect match. Xena is spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is his forever home! Soooo ready to make your life filled with orange delight with their happiness and sunny personalities as all orange tabbies have! Linx Luna and Lexie - roughly 8-10 wk old adorables - they are the snuggle bugs u have been searching for. They are too small to be a solo cats, but they'd be a great companion for another young cat looking for a bff or together of course. Adore children, all pets, and all people for that matter. Super biscuit making and WAY cuter than any pics. CAT DOGS already! Ariel and Eric - 8-10 wks old meezers and raring to go! These babies are siblings that are complete joy and love. They are happy playful and wow sweet. The best little cuties that will make ALL hearts soar. They are best together and too small to be solo cats but are not truly bonded yet... That being said, they would be great together furrever too. Great with other pets kids and dogs! Higher donation as they are considered exotic. Too small to be fixed at this time. Tristan, Thomas, Tyson, Trey, Tanner - who doesn't love a giant group of perfect babies?!! These 5 are literally THE cutest tiniest and funnest (if that's a word lol). Been together since teeny weeny in foster so they are also super spoiled and super well mannered - had the best of the best their whole lives! Too small to be fixed at this time or to be solo cats. Rose, Bud, Daisy and Violet - these 8 wk olds have just made weight to allow them to be adopted. Too small to go solo or but are fixed but WOW are they special. All are incredible and raised since teeny in foster so they are well adjusted trained and healthy. Higher donations do apply for the exotics. These babies were all fostered in a wonderful home after they were abandoned in NY/KY at a high kill shelter and then cared for by our incredible NY and KY foster teams! They are all friendly and fun and great for any family - they seem fine with kids and should be fine with other gentle cats and with a gentle dog. They are incredibly affectionate, super snuggly, and simply the most purrfect kitties! All kittens no matter what age, do not grow up with the best behaviors without another cat to help them esp during their tween months. Story
Azul is a stud muffin of a big boy cat. We don’t know what is bigger – his beautiful blue eyes or his enormous round head. We estimate him to weigh around 15 lbs and believe he is around 5-6 years old. Azul was found roaming a neighborhood along the Texas Mexico border, where a good Samaritan saw him and knew she had to help him. He was super scrawny, covered in fleas, tons of missing hair and scabs all over his body. After about 6 weeks, Azul is fully healed, all of his hair has grown back, and he is ready for his forever home. Despite his age, he is very playful and active. He loves to be around people and loves to play with his toys. Cuddling is one of his favorite things. Azul is in a foster home where he is around other cats and dogs. Even though he is big, he gets along wonderfully with other cats! He has met dogs in the current foster home and has no issues with them. He can live happily with other dogs and cats in the home! Azul would love to be a lap cat and be loved every day and all day. He does NOT mark. Azul is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and given a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption/transport. PLEASE READ ABOUT AZUL: Azul is a sweet, gentle soul who has recently tested positive for FIV. This means he needs an indoor-only home where he can be pampered and live a long, healthy life. FIV-positive cats are often the most affectionate! Azul is a total lovebug who is looking for a cozy spot to nap and a family to love. Don't let FIV scare you — it's just a label, not a limitation! He is a very healthy boy that you would not even know had FIV if not for the test. Most cats don’t show symptoms! Please consider reading some facts about FIV and let us know if you would still like to be considered for his adoption. Azul is ready to bring joy to your home. We look forward to hearing back from you. Here are some facts and information to help you learn about FIV: FIV is Not a Death Sentence: FIV is a slow-acting virus that affects a cat's immune system, not a death sentence. Many FIV+ cats live long, normal lives (10-15+ years) and never show symptoms. Perfectly Safe for Families: FIV is not transmissible to humans, dogs, or other non-feline pets. Debunking Myths About Transmission of FIV: Casual Contact is Safe: Contrary to popular belief, FIV is not spread through litter boxes, water bowls, or grooming. Mainly Spreads Through Fighting: The virus is primarily passed through deep, penetrating bite wounds, usually among unneutered, aggressive strays. Safe to Live with Negative Cats: In a stable, non-aggressive home, FIV+ cats can live peacefully with FIV-negative cats. https://www.awlnsw.com.au/find-out-more-about-adopting-an-fiv-cat/ https://bestfriends.org/pet-care-resources/fiv-cats-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-faqs Prior to adopting him, he will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. His adoption fee is $495 – No additional fees. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, Enfield, New Haven and Dayville, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.

Story
Meet Emmi, a gorgeous one-year-old Siamese with a stunning coat and striking blue eyes. This beautiful girl was found as a stray in the Bronx. The original plan was to TNR her — which is why she has an ear tip — but once she showed how friendly she could be, it was clear she deserved the chance to find a furever home instead. Emmi is independent, playful, curious, and full of sass. Once she settles in and warms up, she loves exploring her surroundings and being part of the action. She enjoys attention on her own terms and has a big personality to match her beauty. Like many cats, Emmi can be particular about how much affection she wants at a time and may give “love bites” when she’s had enough. Because of this, she would do best in an home with teens or up, or with cat-savvy adopters who understand feline boundaries. She also does not seem to be a fan of other kitties. Emmi is looking for a patient home that will appreciate her spirited personality and let her blossom at her own pace. In return, you’ll get a gorgeous, entertaining companion with plenty of character and charm. Her adoption fee is $225 and Emmi is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. If you're interested in this gorgeous girl, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.
