Story
Skye is one half of a bonded pair with Rosie (Rosedale). Rosie Skyes are in your future if two furry family members are what you seek. Skye is a striking tabby who is petite and leggy like a Broadway hoofer. She is flighty like an ingénue and needs her Rosie to ground her. Rosie helps clear away stormy clouds from the sweet Skye so the world is a rosier place for them both. They can fill your world with love and playful joy if you choose them to be your beloveds. 5/3/2021 Skye was trapped in River Oaks as part of a feral colony at a teacher’s house. If you are interested in me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a meeting with my foster home!

Story
Caramelly is sweet and easy-going. She is adaptable and would love to be your constant companion. She would do best in a home that is not too hectic. can be shy in new places but warms up quickly. She likes to cuddle and give kisses when you lay on the floor with her. Born 2/15/2020 Caramelly was named after her beautiful caramel color. She showed up very skinny at the foster’s community cat colony during the January deep freeze. Her foster thought she would not make it through the cold spell, but she returned when it warmed up! When she was able to be picked up, it was decided to bring her inside, get her spayed and vaccinated. No previous owner was found and she had no chip. She was shy at first but over time proved to love human touch. If you are interested in me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a meeting with my foster home!

Story
Meet Phil. This handsome boy was rescued from the streets of Dallas by an animal rescuer who noticed that his tail had been mangled and was in need of immediate medical attention. He had part of the tail amputated and is doing great after surgery! We estimate that Phil is around 5 years old. He is FIV positive but cats with FIV can lead a long, healthy life and can be in a home with other cats. Phil is currently being fostered with another cat and after just a couple of days, the pair have become good friends and have been observed having conversations with one another. Phil is very food motivated and eating appears to be one of his favorite hobbies. He will make a great companion for some lucky person or family. Story
Hello my name is Ms. Lowes.  My rescuer mom found me in the garden center at Lowe’s, she said I was the prettiest flower there!  I’m a cutie who loves to run and go up to the top of my cat tree!  I am a very smart girl too. I figure out toys and games quickly.  I most enjoy watching the world from my window. I love watching the birds and cars outside but I always want to be indoors! I may need help learning my way around my new home as this is a new concept for me.  I haven’t been around children but older kids would be ok with me. I do want to be your only fur princess, as I don’t prefer to share my home with other cats or dogs.   I am a great girl and chat/talk daily to my rescuer mom.  My dream life is being loved forever in a great home!! I am a gorgeous Lynx point siamese with big blue eyes that are mesmerizing.  I am approximately 2 years old, have been spayed, microchipped and my shots are up to date!  I am a clean girl and always use my litter box!  Thank you for reading about me and know I’d love to meet you and be your forever princess! —Ms. Lowes To adopt her please fill out an adoption application at http://www.buddiesplacecatrescue.org Courtesy post Updated: 12/10/23

Story
Meet Anderson and Merry a Pair of Lynx Point Siamese kitties. They came to Saving Hope as part of a trap, neuter, release (TNR) program but we couldn't let them go back to the streets with their beautiful coats, the light colors are too dangerous to be spotted by predators. This bonded duo has really come a long way in the time that their foster mom has had them. Anderson has learned to love human companionship. He loves pets and rubs! He has a tendency to politely swat you when he's first learning to trust but once he trusts you, he accepts all the love. He makes a great nap snuggler and is wonderful with other cats and calm dogs. Merry is a little more reserved than Anderson. She's really good about providing company at a distance. She will gladly take treats from you but really prefers to not be petted. When she's extra sleepy, her foster mom will sneak in a few pets and she's okay with that. With time and patience, she could really learn what real love is like. She also does wonderful with other nice cats and ignores dogs. Both of these kitties are litter trained and have a clean bill of health- fully vetted. An ideal family for this pair would be one with adults only, who are patient, and will give the time that they need to gain trust in other humans. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications. Fill out an application at https://webportalapp.com/sp/login/savinghopeanimalrescue-catapplicationportal It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Fee is $300 which includes vaccinations, combo testing, spay/neuter and microchip.
