Story
From his foster mom, Ellie: Schreiner is such a funny, sweet boy once he settles in and feels comfortable. He has a calm personality overall and enjoys hanging out nearby, keeping you company throughout the day without needing to be the center of attention all the time. One of my favorite things about him is how chatty he can be. He loves “talking” with you, following you around, and joining in on whatever you’re doing… especially bathroom trips. He also has a hilarious habit of hopping into the shower right after you get out. He’s affectionate in a really special way because it’s always on his terms. When he decides to curl up next to you for snuggles, it feels extra rewarding because you know he truly trusts you. He really can be incredibly sweet. Schreiner was rescued from a tree at Schreiner University after getting himself stuck high up near a building roof. After a bit of climbing and determination, he made his way home to Fort Worth, where he’s been loved ever since. He enjoys windowsills, cozy spots around the house, and a quieter environment where he can relax and feel secure. He does well with other calm cats and may also do fine with the right mellow dog after slow introductions, but overall I think he would be happiest in a quieter home without too much chaos or activity. Because he takes time to feel comfortable in new environments, he would do best with someone patient who understands that some cats just need a little extra time to settle in and build trust. Once he does, his goofy and loving personality really shines through. He should do best in a home with adults or older children. Born 4/15/2018 At Meowtown, we don’t have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They’re not waiting to become housecats… they already are. They just need a house. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!

Story
I got Stormie about 2 years ago. She was given to me by a good friend when she was a kitten. Unfortunately I am moving and my new landlord won’t allow me to bring her. Stormie is a great cat. She’s house trained, so you won’t have to worry about any accidents. She loves to play with her toys, she’s energetic, and she loves spending time on the balcony bird watching. Stormie tends to get along with dogs better than other cats. She hasn’t spent any time around kids, so I’m not sure how she’d do. She is friendly, so I think it would work. Stormie is shy at first and she may come off as feisty, but she is just scared. After she warms up she is super friendly and she enjoys spending time with people. One special thing about her is that she prefers her wet and dry food mixed together with a little water. She has no health issues.

Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       *** Courtesy Post – Luna’s adoption is not through the Euless Animal Shelter ***  Luna is a spayed female approximately 7-10 years, combo negative Luna was found as a stray but I am sure that she was a house cat as she is very friendly, talkative, she is welcoming and happy to see you. She does tend to nip at you if pet too much as she gets overstimulated and excited. She is not doing this to be mean it is a reaction and if you watch her you can avoid this but no young children due to this. She has been living with a male cat, so she could possibly be with one other cat in the home. She still wants to be your princess, though. She is also playful.
