Story
Snowflake is a very sweet cat that loves to snuggle up. We adopted Snowflake from the Human Society approximately 10 years ago, when he was a kitten. He loves attention and is well behaved, including with the cat litter. He gets along well with our giant breed dog and with any new adults. Unfortunately in the past few months he seems to have developed a sensitivity to our young children, resulting in sporadic attacks. He has scratched our youngest twice in the face recently and is increasingly aggressive in their presence. Snowflake's new home should not have any young children.

Story
Sig is very skittish. When adopted as a kitten the foster tried to persuade me not to adopt him as she said he will not bond with anyone due to his odd detached personality. This turned out to be true for me.

He is about a year old. We got him from a shelter a few months ago. He's a very cuddly cat, loves to play and explore. He loves it when people give him butt pats and many treats. He's very energetic and loves being around people. He'll make for a great companion! We hope to find someone who can give him all the love he needs.

Story
Scottie is a sweet and affectionate 3-year-old cat who was rescued as a kitten. He’s playful, curious, and full of personality. He loves chasing toys, exploring, and especially cuddling, he’ll happily sit on your lap and keep you company. Scottie is very friendly, loves people, and never misses a meal! Due to a human medical condition, we’re no longer able to give him the care he deserves. This has been a difficult decision, and we want to find him a loving, stable home where he’ll get plenty of attention and affection. Scottie would do best with someone who wants a loyal, playful, and cuddly companion. He’s ready to bring warmth, joy, and love into his new home.

Story
Stripes is in the house! I am about 4 years old. I love my friend Patches! It has been Patches and Stripes for as long as I can remember. It would be great if we could be adopted together. However, since we have been looking for a forever home for a long time now (more than 2 years!), Patches and I have made the tough decision that we can be adopted to separate homes. We are hoping that this, plus our adoption fees being waived thanks to generous sponsors, will increase our chances of success. I am looking for that unique adopter who will love me and take care of me but will not expect a snuggly kitty in return. I am a pseudo scaredy cat. While I still have an instinct to hide when a person walks in the room, now I stop myself and do some stretching. It is very important to stretch before exercising. Also, I am bribable. So, when you want a little attention from me, I will take Churo from your fingers! I would prefer a home with another cat. While another cat in my home can only make life better, and help me come out of my shell, children and dogs are a big ICK. Seriously, cats rule! If you think that you could be that special someone for me, please learn more about me by filling out a no obligation cat adoption application. All of our cats are in foster homes. Please submit an application to start the process today! https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Story
I'm a handsome orange tabby boy with a warm heart, a friendly face, and four years of experience perfecting the art of being a great companion. If you've ever heard people say that orange cats are special, they're absolutely right. We're known for our big personalities, affectionate nature, and ability to bring a little extra sunshine into every day. I like to think I'm a pretty good example of that. I'm neutered, negative for FeLV and FIV, current on all my vaccines, and ready to start the next chapter of my life with a family of my own. Whether you're looking for a buddy to keep you company while you work, a couch companion for movie nights, or a friendly face to greet you when you come home, I'd be happy to volunteer for the job. My dream home isn't complicated. I'd love a cozy spot to nap, a few sunny windows to watch the world go by, and a family who will appreciate all the love an orange tabby has to give. In return, I promise plenty of companionship, quiet moments together, and the kind of loyalty that makes a house feel like home. If you've been thinking about adding a little orange magic to your life, I hope you'll come meet me. I may just be the best friend you've been waiting for.
