Story
Sig is very skittish. When adopted as a kitten the foster tried to persuade me not to adopt him as she said he will not bond with anyone due to his odd detached personality. This turned out to be true for me.

Story
Darcy and Atticus were adopted at 9 months in December, 2024 from Patriot Pawsabilities. The two male tabbies are a strongly bonded pair, now just over 2 years old, and should be adopted together. The boys have been neutered, microchipped, have had regular vet care, including all up-to-date vaccinations. Both cats are easygoing & affectionate, love to wrestle & chase each other play with strings & small chew toys, and are indoor cats. The boys are about 12 pounds, will sit on laps or nestle close to their human companions preferring to be close to them whenever possible. Darcy is very outgoing, Atticus a bit shy, but neither cat ever bites or scratches people. They have big appetites, so food should be monitored. Atticus has stomatitis, an autoimmune challenge, requiring the removal of all his teeth, so he must always be on a hydrolyzed protein diet...which Darcy eats, as well. Adoptive parents should PLEASE take the boys together, because they have been bonded since birth.

Story
Stripes is in the house! I am about 4 years old. I love my friend Patches! It has been Patches and Stripes for as long as I can remember. It would be great if we could be adopted together. However, since we have been looking for a forever home for a long time now (more than 2 years!), Patches and I have made the tough decision that we can be adopted to separate homes. We are hoping that this, plus our adoption fees being waived thanks to generous sponsors, will increase our chances of success. I am looking for that unique adopter who will love me and take care of me but will not expect a snuggly kitty in return. I am a pseudo scaredy cat. While I still have an instinct to hide when a person walks in the room, now I stop myself and do some stretching. It is very important to stretch before exercising. Also, I am bribable. So, when you want a little attention from me, I will take Churo from your fingers! I would prefer a home with another cat. While another cat in my home can only make life better, and help me come out of my shell, children and dogs are a big ICK. Seriously, cats rule! If you think that you could be that special someone for me, please learn more about me by filling out a no obligation cat adoption application. All of our cats are in foster homes. Please submit an application to start the process today! https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Story
Meet Eileen – our terrific little tripod with a heart just as big as her story. About a year and a half ago, I was spotted at a local brewery with a badly broken back leg. The kind staff tried to get me help, but I disappeared before anyone could find me. For a long time, no one knew what happened to me… until I made a surprise reappearance this March! This time, some amazing trappers were ready, and they made sure I finally got the help I needed. Unfortunately, my leg couldn’t be saved—but the good news? I don't need it to keep living my best life! And even better… everyone quickly realized I’m not just a survivor, I’m a sweetheart. What started as a “trap, amputate, and return” plan quickly turned into a mission to find me the loving forever home I deserve. Now that I’m safely indoors, I’ve adjusted beautifully. I get around just fine on three legs and am more focused on the important things in life—like perfecting my biscuit-making skills (and taste-testing plenty of snacks… I love my treats!). I’m happy to share my space with other cats and enjoy a peaceful, cozy environment. Because I’m a tripod, I’d do best in a slower-paced home where I can move around comfortably and relax at my own pace. Give me a soft spot to land, some tasty snacks, and a little love, and I’ll be your most loyal companion. I’ve already overcome so much—now I’m just waiting for my happy ending. Could that be with you? Fill out a no obligation cat adoption application today at https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Story
Meet Cheree Cheree knows exactly who she is, and she will not be apologizing for it. This gorgeous four-year-old beauty carries herself with the kind of confidence that can only come from a cat who has fully embraced her own fabulousness. She's plus-sized, she's stunning, and she is completely aware of both. She's currently working on her beach body — trading in the dry food she loves a little too much for a wet food diet — but don't let that fool you. Cheree is on her timeline, and she looks amazing either way. Life with Cheree is equal parts glamour and chill. She's not the type to follow you around begging for attention — she has standards. She'll spend her day holding down the window, monitoring the neighborhood, and logging some serious nap hours until you are ready to give her the attention she deserves. And when you finally sit down? She'll be right there, settling in beside you like the queen she is. Speaking of sitting down — Cheree is the ultimate TV companion. She has a particular fondness for the Real Housewives franchise, and honestly? She would fit right in. The drama, the glamour, the strong personalities — she gets it. She lives it. When the mood strikes, Cheree transforms into a playful, feisty girl who goes absolutely wild for a good wand toy session. She loves a good pet and will soak up affection on her own terms — which, frankly, is the only way worth doing it. Cheree is looking for a home where she can reign supreme — no other cats, please. She has no interest in sharing her crown. Older children are perfectly welcome in her kingdom, as long as they understand who is in charge. If you're looking for a low-drama, high-glamour companion who will keep you company on the couch and look absolutely fabulous doing it — Cheree is your girl.  Apply now, darling. She's already reviewed your application and is cautiously optimistic.   Adoption fee includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip Adoption fee: $200.00   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Meet Angel: Your Future Professional Snuggler Looking for double the joy and a lifetime of purrs? Meet Angel, a spectacularly sweet boy with striking blue eyes and a heart of gold. Angel is the perfect blend of playful kitten energy and absolute lovebug. When he’s in "full play mode," you’ll find him happily chasing feathers or batting his favorite toy springs across the room with his brothers and sisters. But the moment playtime wraps up? Angel is consistently the very first kitten to climb right into an available lap, ready to turn on his legendary, room-filling purr generator and snuggle the afternoon away. He is truly a "good boy" in every sense of the word—gentle, affectionate, and full of wonder. Why Two is Better Than One Angel is searching for a loving forever home, and he has one special request: he’d love to bring one of his siblings—Dawn, Spike, and Buffy—along for the adventure! Adopting a pair of kittens means: Built-in Best Friends: They keep each other entertained, active, and mentally stimulated while you're away. Better Behavior: Kittens learn boundaries (like how hard to bite during play) from each other, which means fewer scratched curtains for you. Double the Love: There is truly nothing sweeter than watching two bonded siblings curl up together for a nap after a long day of playing. Angel is ready to bring an immense amount of love, life, and purrs into your home. Come meet him (and his equally wonderful siblings) today—your lap will thank you! It is Fancy Cats' policy to not adopt kittens singly unless there is another young and/or playful dog or cat in the home. Adoption fee includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, microchip Adoption fee: $350.00   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Meet Spike—your future champion purr-machine and professional lap warmer! If you are looking for a kitten who brings equal parts playful energy and pure, cozy affection, Spike is your perfect match. On the activity front, he is a tiny athlete who loves chasing bouncy springs, leaping to catch a feather wand, and engaging in wrestling matches with his siblings, Buffy, Angel and Dawn. He’s also got an excellent appetite and is always the enthusiastic first one to the food bowl! But once playtime is over, Spike transitions into a professional napper. Whether he’s curled up tightly with a sibling or melting right into your lap, he is an expert at finding comfort. That’s right—he is already a dedicated future lap cat with a deep, soothing purr just waiting to fill your home. Spike is ready to bring a lifetime of love, laughter, and cozy cuddles to his forever family. Could that be you? It is Fancy Cats' policy to not adopt kittens singly unless there is another young and/or playful dog or cat in the home.
