Story
Ash was adopted from a shelter when he was about 2 months with his brother Brutus. They are both indoor cats. Although they are not lap cats they are affectionate, welcoming to new people and love to play, be brushed and be close to owner. They do not like to be alone very much and will follow you in each room to ensure that you are "safe". I am heartbroken to have to rehome them and I looked into every possible solution but they need a loving and present family and I cannot offer that anymore. They will make you laugh and fill your life with their purring, furry presence.

Story
Brutus has been adopted when about 2 months old with his brother Ash, who is also up for adoption. Brutus is affectionate and welcoming although he is not a lap cat. He will make you laugh with his weird antics and will follow you asking for pets and treats. He is very playful and loves to be brushes and given attention. He is also a curious eater eager to taste whatever you are eating! Ash and Brutus have always lived together and maybe would be better off adopted together too although from time to time being full indoor cats they let go some steam against each other. They are both loving, cute and funny furry companions who will fill your lives. I am heartbroken to have to let them go.

Story
Stripes is in the house! I am about 4 years old. I love my friend Patches! It has been Patches and Stripes for as long as I can remember. It would be great if we could be adopted together. However, since we have been looking for a forever home for a long time now (more than 2 years!), Patches and I have made the tough decision that we can be adopted to separate homes. We are hoping that this, plus our adoption fees being waived thanks to generous sponsors, will increase our chances of success. I am looking for that unique adopter who will love me and take care of me but will not expect a snuggly kitty in return. I am a pseudo scaredy cat. While I still have an instinct to hide when a person walks in the room, now I stop myself and do some stretching. It is very important to stretch before exercising. Also, I am bribable. So, when you want a little attention from me, I will take Churo from your fingers! I would prefer a home with another cat. While another cat in my home can only make life better, and help me come out of my shell, children and dogs are a big ICK. Seriously, cats rule! If you think that you could be that special someone for me, please learn more about me by filling out a no obligation cat adoption application. All of our cats are in foster homes. Please submit an application to start the process today! https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Story
Meet Eileen – our terrific little tripod with a heart just as big as her story. About a year and a half ago, I was spotted at a local brewery with a badly broken back leg. The kind staff tried to get me help, but I disappeared before anyone could find me. For a long time, no one knew what happened to me… until I made a surprise reappearance this March! This time, some amazing trappers were ready, and they made sure I finally got the help I needed. Unfortunately, my leg couldn’t be saved—but the good news? I don't need it to keep living my best life! And even better… everyone quickly realized I’m not just a survivor, I’m a sweetheart. What started as a “trap, amputate, and return” plan quickly turned into a mission to find me the loving forever home I deserve. Now that I’m safely indoors, I’ve adjusted beautifully. I get around just fine on three legs and am more focused on the important things in life—like perfecting my biscuit-making skills (and taste-testing plenty of snacks… I love my treats!). I’m happy to share my space with other cats and enjoy a peaceful, cozy environment. Because I’m a tripod, I’d do best in a slower-paced home where I can move around comfortably and relax at my own pace. Give me a soft spot to land, some tasty snacks, and a little love, and I’ll be your most loyal companion. I’ve already overcome so much—now I’m just waiting for my happy ending. Could that be with you? Fill out a no obligation cat adoption application today at https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Story
Meet Jules — a two-year-old brown tabby with a confident, outgoing personality and a heart full of charm! This handsome guy brings a fun, social energy wherever he goes and isn’t shy about making himself part of the action. Jules started his journey outdoors alongside other feline friends Vincent, Jimmie and Mia, where a kind family looked out for him. Thanks to their care—and a second chance at a better life—he’s made a smooth transition to indoor living and is clearly enjoying all the comforts of home. Currently in foster with Mia, Jules gets along well with other cats and truly thrives with feline companionship. While he and Mia are not bonded, Jules would do best in a home with another friendly cat to keep him company and share in his daily adventures. Confident and curious, Jules settles into new situations with ease and is always ready to explore, play, and interact. He does well with cat-savvy kids who understand how to respectfully engage with a spirited, social kitty like him. Whether he’s chasing toys, greeting you at the door, or hanging out nearby, Jules is a fun-loving companion who’s ready to bring energy, affection, and a little extra sparkle into his forever home. Story
Meet Foxy! 🦊😼 Foxy has the world’s most iconic resting grumpy face. He may look serious in photos, but don’t be fooled: underneath that expression is a total sweetheart with a heart of gold. Foxy is about 7 years old and spent much of his early life surviving outdoors. Those days are behind him now, and he has fully embraced the indoor life. Comfort, affection, and quality lap time are his new priorities — and he excels at all three! Once Foxy decides you’re safe (which usually takes less than a minute), he becomes an affectionate, people-loving companion who enjoys headbutts, attention, and being close to his humans. Despite his tough beginnings, Foxy is a social butterfly with other cats. He gets along well with friendly felines and would truly thrive in a home with another cat (or two!) to keep him company. He may also do well with a cat-savvy dog. While he hasn’t been tested with children, his gentle and affectionate nature suggests he could be a wonderful fit with respectful kids. Foxy is still discovering the joys of playtime and is beginning to show his playful side — it’s been a delight to watch his personality continue to bloom in foster care. One small but important note: Foxy has a chicken allergy and does great on a chicken-free diet. Easy fix, and he’s feeling fantastic! Foxy is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, and he’s ready to start his next chapter in a loving home. If you’re looking for a charming, affectionate cat with loads of personality (and an unforgettable face), Foxy might just be your perfect match. 🧡 Apply today and come meet Foxy — he’s ready to win your heart! Story
Hi, I’m Flapjack. I’m a gray tabby boy around 2 years old, and if you meet me in person, you’ll probably understand pretty quickly how I got my name. The second someone gives me attention, I completely melt—rolling over, flopping onto my side, and wriggling around for more pets like it’s the greatest thing in the world. Honestly, love and affection are my favorite things. You might notice that one of my ears looks a little different. It’s called “cauliflower ear,” and while it gives me a bit of extra character, it isn’t actively causing me any problems. I think it just makes me even more unforgettable.  Before coming to Fancy Cats, I arrived at one of their partner shelters as a stray. No one knows exactly where I came from or how long I was out there on my own, but somehow through it all, I kept my sweet and trusting heart. I still believe every new person could be my person. What I really want now is a home where I never have to wonder if I’m safe or loved again. A couch to flop on, hands to pet me, and someone who smiles every time they see me dramatically roll over asking for attention. I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and negative for feline leukemia and FIV—completely ready to start my next chapter. I’ve spent enough time surviving. Now I’m hoping it’s finally my turn to just be somebody’s beloved cat. If you think I'd fit into your family, come visit me at the Manassas PetCo (10055 Wellington Rd, Manassas, VA 20110). Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Colter ("Colt") and Ms. Phyllis ("Philly") are an incredibly sweet, bonded pair who share a very special bond. Whether they’re cuddling together, grooming each other, or looking for one another around the room, these two truly love being side by side.   When Philly first arrived in foster care, she was a bit shy and reserved, but now that she’s fully comfortable, she’s shown her true personality and is an absolute sweetheart and love bug. She loves belly rubs, trills to say hello, rubs all over your legs, and happily curls up in your arms for cuddles.   Colt is the more outgoing of the two and immediately makes himself at home. He’s incredibly affectionate, playful, and people-oriented - always wanting to be involved in whatever you’re doing. He loves curling up in your lap, following you around, and soaking up as much attention as possible.   Both Colt and Philly are extremely cuddly cats who just want to always be close to their people. They balance each other perfectly - Colt helps give Philly confidence, while Philly brings out Colt’s softer side. They truly thrive together and would love a forever home where they can stay side by side.   They also do amazing with other animals and have been wonderful with both cats and dogs.   These two are the perfect mix of affectionate, playful, gentle, and easygoing, and whoever adopts them will be getting two built-in best friends.  2026-0626 5/2/2026   Ms Phyllis dsh brown/orange tabby 4/25/2025 f/s 2026-0627 5/2/2026   Colter dmh white/brown 4/25/2025 m/n   Adoption fee includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, microchip Adoption fee: $350.00/pair   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
