Story
Found Apollo and Nix abandoned when they were kittens and took them both in. They are 13 and very relaxed and calm cats. Unfortunately I’m moving and won’t be able to take them with me. Apollo has on and off UTIs because of his older age.

Story
I found Nix and my other cat, Apollo, abandoned as kittens and adopted them. They are older and Apollo has on and off UTIs while Nix doesn’t have any problems. They are calm and relaxed. They are around 13 years old, unfortunately I am moving and unable to take them. I’m looking for an owner that will provide a nice place for them, feed them, and change litter. They don’t require much maintenance.

Story
Stripes is in the house! I am about 4 years old. I love my friend Patches! It has been Patches and Stripes for as long as I can remember. It would be great if we could be adopted together. However, since we have been looking for a forever home for a long time now (more than 2 years!), Patches and I have made the tough decision that we can be adopted to separate homes. We are hoping that this, plus our adoption fees being waived thanks to generous sponsors, will increase our chances of success. I am looking for that unique adopter who will love me and take care of me but will not expect a snuggly kitty in return. I am a pseudo scaredy cat. While I still have an instinct to hide when a person walks in the room, now I stop myself and do some stretching. It is very important to stretch before exercising. Also, I am bribable. So, when you want a little attention from me, I will take Churo from your fingers! I would prefer a home with another cat. While another cat in my home can only make life better, and help me come out of my shell, children and dogs are a big ICK. Seriously, cats rule! If you think that you could be that special someone for me, please learn more about me by filling out a no obligation cat adoption application. All of our cats are in foster homes. Please submit an application to start the process today! https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Story
The only thing better than one brown tabby is TWO —Meet Vincent and Jules, a handsome two-year-old brown tabby duo with sleek short coats and an easygoing charm. They both have very expressive eyes and a warm, affectionate personality. Vincent shares a close bond with his best friend Jules, and the two have come a long way together. Once cared for outdoors by a kind family, they were given the chance at a better life—and V and J have embraced indoor living like a pro. They are both comfortable, curious, and clearly enjoying all the perks of home life. Vincent can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and loves being part of the action once he feels secure. He's great with other cats and does well with respectful, mindful children, making him a wonderful addition to a calm, loving home. You may notice Vincents unique ear—he has a small ear tip from an old injury, which just adds to his character and tells part of his story. It doesn't bother him one bit and only makes him more unforgettable. Now for Jules- he has a confident, outgoing personality and a heart full of charm! This handsome guy is a delight wherever he goes and isnt shy about making himself part of the action. Confident and curious, Jules does well with cat-savvy kids who understand how to respectfully engage with a spirited, social kitty like him! Brown tabbies are just the BEST. Everyone should have a pair! Throughout August 2026, as part of Clear the Shelters, and thanks to generous sponsors, the adoption fees for Vincent and Jules are waived. Story
Peter and Asher were lucky boys to end up at MeowTown when they were surrendered.  They were found as kittens in a box at a job site and the family brought them home however 2 years later their situation changed and they needed to surrender them to a rescue they trusted. MeowTown seemed the perfect place for them since they're good with people, cats, and dogs.  Initially they were very shy in the new place but when a hand went out to pet them, they gladly accepted the love that was being given as they wait for their new family.  Despite their shyness, once they warm up, they become the most affectionate companions. Their gentle demeanor makes them perfect for a calm and loving home. Adopting Peter and Asher means giving them a chance to thrive together in a nurturing environment where they can continue to share their boundless love. Bonded pair adoption fee $300, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
