Freddie Weasley arrived at Santa Barbara County Animal Services as a neglected stray, his tiny coat painfully tangled with mats and burrs. After no one came looking for him, we welcomed Freddie as a Frosted Face. At 10 years old and just under 10 pounds, Freddie may be small in size, but he has a big heart. He’s currently enjoying an extended Frosted Fling in a foster home, where he’s receiving the love and gentle care he deserves. His foster mom describes him as a sweet, devoted, easygoing companion with excellent house manners. Freddie is calm and docile, happiest when he’s lounging nearby in a comfy, soft bed. He’s not interested in playing with toys, and he’s not the dog for long hikes or as a playmate for an energetic pup. Instead, Freddie is a cuddly, quiet little shadow who simply wants to be close to his person. Freddie is hearing impaired, but it doesn’t slow him down in the slightest. He responds well to hand signals and stays closely attuned to his foster mom. If you are looking for a loving, well-behaved companion, sweet Freddie may be the one for you!
