Meet Zucchero & Sugar Boo — A Sweet Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Home ❤️🐾 Zucchero and Sugar Boo are an absolutely adorable brother-and-sister pair of Shih Tzus who are looking for a wonderful home together. These beautiful three-year-old pups weigh approximately 12–14 pounds and are both spayed/neutered, healthy, sweet, and full of personality. The two are very bonded and truly love having each other. They play together, run around outside, and enjoy sharing their lives side by side. Because of their special bond, they must be adopted together. Zucchero is the outgoing one! He is happy, confident, playful, and full of personality. He has plenty of swag and knows how adorable he is! He loves people, enjoys being around other dogs, and is always ready to have fun. His sister, Sugar Boo, is the quieter and more reserved one. She can be a little timid at first, but she is incredibly sweet and loving. Sugar Boo absolutely loves being picked up, cuddled, and getting belly rubs. Once she feels comfortable, her loving personality shines through. Both Zucchero and Sugar Boo love company and want to be close to their people. They adore other dogs, love to play, and enjoy going outside to run around and have fun. And like many Shih Tzus, they definitely have a love for food! They would love a home where someone is around often and has plenty of time to spend with them. A nice home with a secure yard where they can safely run and play would be perfect. Ruby Rose came into our care through our Final Wish Program after her dad passed away unexpectedly. Ruby's mom is unable to live independently and, sadly, could not bring her beloved dog with her when she moved into assisted living. At 15 years old and 10 pounds, Ruby is a sweet girl who does well with cats and other dogs. She went on a two-week Frosted Fling where she received lots of love in the comfort of a home while we learned more about her. Ruby's foster family has many positive things to share about this lovely little girl! Ruby is a little doll with a sweet, gentle nature and a quiet presence. She enjoys being picked up and held, carried, and petted. Although Ruby has been through a lot of changes recently, she settled easily into the routine in her foster home and got along well with both the resident large and small dogs. Ruby enjoys mealtimes, isn't picky about her food, and is comfortable eating near her canine companions. After breakfast or dinner, Ruby likes to go on a short stroll with the other dogs. She sleeps peacefully through the night on her own dog bed. Ruby has limited vision, so she may seem a little hesitant when someone reaches toward her head. She needs to go outside every few hours during the day and isn't able to navigate stairs because of her poor vision. Fortunately, at just 10 pounds, she's easy to scoop up and carry wherever she needs to go! Ruby would be a wonderful companion in a variety of households, whether she is the only dog or shares her life with other canine friends. She could enjoy a family with children or adults, and she doesn't need a busy household to be happy. What matters most is that her people understand her vision limitations, approach her gently, and appreciate the sweet senior she is. Ruby may be 15, but her foster family says she's a very young 15! This darling girl deserves a soft place to land, caring arms to hold her, and a family who will cherish her in this special chapter of her life. 14-year-old Charlie was surrendered to Frosted Faces after his mom became unable to live independently and continue caring for him. Having been together since Charlie was just a puppy, this was understandably a sad transition for them both. Despite this big change, Charlie is a sweet, loving boy who simply wants to be loved, included, and given plenty of opportunities to play. He enjoys going for walks, playing fetch, and having fun with his stuffed animals. Charlie weighs 17 lbs. and is good with other dogs. He spent a lot of time around kids in his previous home and was great with them, too! As you can see in his videos, Charlie has lots of pep in his step on walks and quickly learned how to use a ramp to get onto the couch. Smart cookie! Charlie is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling receiving lots of love and care in the comfort of a home while we learn even more about him. Stay tuned for updates from his foster family!
