He came to Mutt Love after his beloved human mom could no longer care for him due to cancer, and now he’s ready to be someone’s loyal little sidekick. Leo is a quiet, easygoing pup with a lovable 17-lb “dad bod” (a light diet and plenty of walks are in his future). He thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. Once he chooses “his person”, he’s ALL IN. Think loyal shadow, professional snuggler, and emotional support sidekick. He is fully house-trained, loves his toys, and does well with children and other dogs. Cats are still an unknown. Leo is the perfect match for someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion who just wants to enjoy the good life together. Pippa is about 1 years old and weighs about 10 lbs. We believe Pippa is a Shih Tzu/Poodle. Update from the foster: "In all my years of fostering, it is rare to find a dog this remarkably wonderful! Pippa is the SWEETEST dog. She loves everyone even strangers. She has not one mean bone in her body and has the most wonderful personality. She LOVES playing with other dogs and also entertains herself with toys. I think she would be happiest in a home with a young friend to play with. She is housetrained, loves the kids, cats and dogs. She easy to walk on a leash and has a great time in the yard. She's also a great car rider! She is a sweet cuddler and enjoys sleeping with people but is also happy in a furry dog bed. She is a GEM! Whatever her past......this is one amazing dog who has been loved!" Pippa will require an adopter who is a home a good portion of the day as this is what she is used to in her foster home. Pippa will be spayed in late February, she is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. The Adoption Fee is $600.00. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check.
