Story
Turbo's owner frequently travels. The time away from a consistent home environment is too stressful for Turbo. Turbo needs a more relaxed, stay-at-home environment. He is an old, relaxed dog who is house trained. Dry-food, water, and being taken out 2 to three times a day is sufficient to satisfy his basic needs. He also does need to be hugged and loved. He likes to follow people around the house. The dog had dental surgery to remove rotten teeth after being rescued, so feel free to customize the diet as needed, small bites. This is an in-home sort of dog not fit for living outside in the elements. A perfect match for a very consistent/static home environment. He is well socialized, but grumpy. The owner rates this dog's ease of care as 10 out of 10 (10 being the easiest) with regular yearly vet visits. He will be depressed and nervous for up to 2 months, possibly, after re-homing. He is a sensitive dog. Current age is estimated at 13 years and shows no signs of slowing down.

Story
    Waylon James is a Smooth Fox Terrier mix with soulful eyes and a goofy side. After spending a couple of months in boarding at a wonderful vet clinic, he was scared and very nervous when he first got to his foster home. But with lots of patience, training and love, he has become a great dog. He has a lot of energy and loves running zoomies in the yard, jumping obstacle courses and fetching. He still has a lot of puppy energy despite his age, so he would do better around older kids since he can get a bit too excited while playing. He will also do best at a home with another dog to help him gain more confidence when left alone and curve his nervous energy. He also has a calm, cuddly side that loves nothing more than to snuggle next to his foster mom in the couch, be picked up in her arms, or just retreat into his crate to take a midday nap with his chewy toys. He is a bit shy when he first meets a new person, but don’t let that fool you because he is a Velcro dog and he will become your best friend.
