Story
Travis is one of those cats who will immediately take to you.  He loves companionship and company.  He is a calm and sweet, sweet boy. He is so happy and easy to be around.  We can only wonder about the life he once had, as Travis was brought to the Riverside County shelter in San Jacinto after his previous owners were evicted. That's all we know.  We think Travis is a "young" ten-year-old. He was marked "rescue only" by the county shelter due to his age and concern for health issues that may be commonly present in older cats. Travis was chosen to get a senior health screening paid for by the ForeverMeow Hyla Marrow Memorial Fund for Veterinary Care of Homeless Cats, to make sure he is healthy and his new family knows what to expect. When Travis was pulled out of the shelter, he had a minor cold, an ear infection, and severe tartar on his teeth.  He is being treated for his issues and will be ready for a new family soon. We are hopeful that the person or family destined to share the rest of his life will find him and connect with him.  If this might be you, complete the adoption form in the link below, and we will contact you to chat! Adoption Application here REQUIREMENTS: Unless specifically indicated, INDOOR pets only and NO declawing - all of our cats and kittens use a variety of scratching posts and other scratching devices. Please note, we often get multiple applications for the same cat or kitten. Unless there are over-riding constraints or requirements, e.g., one of a bonded pair, we always give priority to the order in which we receive a completed application (first qualified, first served). ForeverMeow is a 501(c)(3) non-profit cat rescue, registered with the California State Attorney General. ForeverMeow is a certified adoption partner of: Riverside County Department of Animal Services, Petco Foundation, and a Best Friends Network Partner.       Nearly all of our cats & kittens are rescued from Coachella Valley shelters, or to avoid them from entering the shelter. Since 2012, we have rescued over 2,000 cats and kittens.    April 28, 2024, 10:54 pm

Story
Saturn needs another cat, preferably. She is very social and loves to talk to you. She will go wherever you are and want to discuss her wants, like go outside or give me some wet food. She is a cuddle muffin and another cat will do if she can't get your attention. She is 14-years old and in really good health and spirits. She has no visible signs of being old. She needs to be brushed throughout the warm season to keep her coat healthy. Her hind hair needs a trim to keep her hiny sanitary. She will tolerate her toes clipped (with some struggle). She's a hefty 12 1/2 lbs, but can exit quite quickly if she does want to bother with a noisy visitor. She prefers a calm environment and is a super prissy cat. No aggressive behavior whatsoever. She will claw at the screen door if you are not paying attention to letting her in or out and also the side of the bed or couch. She is used to being scolded (which will only work if you move toward her). She is not fond of dogs and will hide out.
