Story
Saturn needs another cat, preferably. She is very social and loves to talk to you. She will go wherever you are and want to discuss her wants, like go outside or give me some wet food. She is a cuddle muffin and another cat will do if she can't get your attention. She is 14-years old and in really good health and spirits. She has no visible signs of being old. She needs to be brushed throughout the warm season to keep her coat healthy. Her hind hair needs a trim to keep her hiny sanitary. She will tolerate her toes clipped (with some struggle). She's a hefty 12 1/2 lbs, but can exit quite quickly if she does want to bother with a noisy visitor. She prefers a calm environment and is a super prissy cat. No aggressive behavior whatsoever. She will claw at the screen door if you are not paying attention to letting her in or out and also the side of the bed or couch. She is used to being scolded (which will only work if you move toward her). She is not fond of dogs and will hide out.

Story
Travis is one of those cats who will immediately take to you.  He loves companionship and company.  He is a calm and sweet, sweet boy. He is so happy and easy to be around.  We can only wonder about the life he once had, as Travis was brought to the Riverside County shelter in San Jacinto after his previous owners were evicted. That's all we know.  We think Travis is a "young" ten-year-old. He was marked "rescue only" by the county shelter due to his age and concern for health issues that may be commonly present in older cats. Travis was chosen to get a senior health screening paid for by the ForeverMeow Hyla Marrow Memorial Fund for Veterinary Care of Homeless Cats, to make sure he is healthy and his new family knows what to expect. When Travis was pulled out of the shelter, he had a minor cold, an ear infection, and severe tartar on his teeth.  He is being treated for his issues and will be ready for a new family soon. We are hopeful that the person or family destined to share the rest of his life will find him and connect with him.  If this might be you, complete the adoption form in the link below, and we will contact you to chat! Adoption Application here REQUIREMENTS: Unless specifically indicated, INDOOR pets only and NO declawing - all of our cats and kittens use a variety of scratching posts and other scratching devices. Please note, we often get multiple applications for the same cat or kitten. Unless there are over-riding constraints or requirements, e.g., one of a bonded pair, we always give priority to the order in which we receive a completed application (first qualified, first served). ForeverMeow is a 501(c)(3) non-profit cat rescue, registered with the California State Attorney General. ForeverMeow is a certified adoption partner of: Riverside County Department of Animal Services, Petco Foundation, and a Best Friends Network Partner.       Nearly all of our cats & kittens are rescued from Coachella Valley shelters, or to avoid them from entering the shelter. Since 2012, we have rescued over 2,000 cats and kittens.    April 5, 2024, 7:40 pm

Story
I am currently available for adoption from my foster home. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an application on our website www.carmaoc.org   Hi my name is Cremini and I've been in foster for a fair amount of time because I'm shy. I like other cats, people don't bother me so long as they're at a distance. I am playful and fun, just not used to being pet or handled. I will walk to the couch, stop 3 feet away and wait for my treat. I will come take it from your hand. I will interact with toys and cats. My foster house has multiple cats so I would benefit from more one on one time with both my new people and a cat friend. I used to zoom with my brother before he was adopted.   I am looking for a cat experienced home that has patience and will let me acclimate to my new surroundings at my own pace, but will also challenge me to be more social once I'm comfortable in the house. I have gained some confidence, so I am more engaged with my surroundings and will even investigate new things, as long the humans don't move.  I am very food motivated and I will take treats from your hand which is a great place to start for building trust.   My adoption fee is $175. That includes spay/neuter, microchip, FIV/FeLV combo test, current vaccines and health check.April 12, 2024, 2:41 am

Story
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE YOU RESPOND. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. DEVIL DIAS, his 4 siblings (BANKURO - HAMLET - GATZ) and 4 older cat relatives were living in a tough area in Baldwin Park, California. These poor babies were living in someone's yard in the heat. The rescue mama happened to look on Facebook one day and saw the video of one of DEVIL DIAS's possible siblings being chased by a coyote, Needless to say, the rescue mama set course the next day to pick them all up. So DEVIL DIAS (named after the anime: ONE PIECE) has known the street life for a very short time. With all the tragedy that has happened to this boy and his family, he deserves to have a wonderful home. He has now been living a nice pampered life. DEVIL DIAS tolerates to be petted. He can be shy at first. He will stay still and allow pets. You can see in his sweet little face, he is has the look of wanting love. He needs a real family that will love him like their own family member. He will do better with a SUPER friendly cat to finish showing him that he is loved. He of course, gets along really well with his siblings. DEVIL DIAS was adopted out and returned because they were not patient with him. Please note: He will not adjust in one week or even in one month. If you can't love him just the shy way he is, please don't apply. DEVIL DIAS is DOMESTIC LONG-HAIR SIAMESE / SNOWSHOE MIX. He is 17 months and is good with cats. He has never been around young children (and don't recommend him with small children) and dogs might be too scary because he was being chased by coyotes. DEVIL DIAS is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ******************************* NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS ****************************** DECEMBER 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. If we haven't reached out....be patient. DEVIL DIAS is ALREADY fully vetted.
