Captain Graysons Journey to a Second Chance Captain Grayson was found in a womans yard, suffering from a severe eye injury. She reached out to E Rescue Houston for help, and we stepped in right away to give him the care he desperately needed. With the incredible support of our community, we were able to get Grayson to a veterinarian where his injured eye was safely removed. His recovery wasnt without challenges—he developed an infection and needed additional medical care—but this brave boy continued to fight and made a full recovery. Today, Captain Grayson is healthy, happy, and ready to find the loving forever home he deserves. He is a friendly boy who gets along wonderfully with other cats and even the resident dog in his foster home. Grayson is a social cat who truly needs a feline companion. He will not do well as an only cat, so his forever home must have another friendly cat to keep him company. He is currently living with his sister, Gretta, who is also looking for her forever home. While they do not have to be adopted together, we would love for them both to find families where they can continue to be loved and cherished. After everything Grayson has overcome, he is ready for the next chapter of his life—a safe, loving home where he will never have to worry again.

Hi, I’m Dior. I used to be loved and taken care of, but one day it was decided I was no longer wanted. I grew up only eating fancy meals, so of course I’m used to mainly eating wet food, but I will give dry food a chance here and there. I don’t mind being handled by kids, but I’m still getting used to being around other kitties, it’s hard when I used to be an only child. I love to cuddle with my current foster mom and I have taken over the bedroom area, my foster siblings do give me my space and have allowed me to decompress thus far. Give me a chance to be loved again and have an actual forever home!

This sweet girl had a rough start to life. She came into our rescue on Christmas 2025 only months old. This baby girl was hit by a car and left for dead. A good Samaritan saw her and could leave her. She reached out for help and we took her in. Harley has multiple breaks in her both hips and also her tail. We took her to the best orthopedic surgeon hours away but we knew this girl deserved a better life then how it started. Harley had pin and plates put into both sides of her hips and had to have a full amputation. She has completely healed and is now able to run, jump and play like the kitten she is. Harley has a big personality but she loves her people. She likes to sleep in bed with her person and sunbath in the window. My momma Lady Blue birthed my brother Mickey and me in the common area of an apartment complex. When I was just a few weeks old, a Good Samaritan found us and cared for my little family until Foster Meowmy brought all of us to the safe haven of her home. Boy howdy! It was great to relax once we got inside because Mickey and I were much too young to deal with the hardscrabble life of strays, and Momma Lady Blue was finding barely enough food for both herself and nursing us. Mickey and I have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
