Story
Sweet Edna is about 4 years old. When we rescued her we thought she was a senior because she was slow to move and had trouble getting up. Then our vet said she was only about 4 during her exam. We also realized her arthritis suddenly got better! About a month after rescuing her she had a very aggressive seizure. We took her to the ER , got her stabilized and she is now on seizure meds for Epilepsy. We then realized this was probably why her former owners dumped her and why she had separation anxiety😢 Despite everything she’s been through she is still the absolute sweetest girl ever. She gives bear hugs and nuzzles for kisses. She constantly wants to talk about all the love she has to give🥹 she is potty trained and great with other dogs. We want a family where someone is always around to be with her. Imagine how many times she had to go through this ALONE!💔💔💔No wonder she gets separation anxiety🥺 We also want to make sure if there is another dog in the home and she happens to have another seizure that they would not react or try to attack her to stop the chaos. Although she was able to walk on her own after the seizure subsided, She is a giant breed dog so if a situation like this were to come up again and she needs to be carried out into the car , she needs an adopter who has the capacity to help move her around. Although her seizures may be stabilized for a long time, potentially forever , this will always be an underlying medical issue and her future adopters MUST be ready and equipped to take on this financial undertaking as well. Her monthly expenses for food , supplements, medication etc will not be cheap. She is not spayed due to the seizures and we dont know if we will be able to spay her as anesthesia is very risky with her condition. All this being said , this girl is truly special. She is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever met and anyone who meets her instantly falls in love. Story
How this pet arrived:Bison was brought in by his previous owner on April 19, 2025. Why Bison pet is the one for you:Meet Bison! This big, beautiful boy is a whole lot of dog with a soft side he keeps tucked away at first. Bison can be shy when meeting new people, so he needs someone who's cool with taking it slow and letting him come to you. He's a strong boy (especially on leash) and not a fan of other dogs, so he's looking for a dog-free home where he can stretch out, relax, and be your one-and-only. Got room in your life (and on your couch) for a gentle giant? Bison's waiting! At SDHS:Bison has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Bison is now ready for his new home! Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 108 Age: 2yrs 7mths 2wks

Bear is 4 years old, house trained and amazing with kids. Loves to just lay around. Needs a home where there is someone there all day and gives him lots of love. He’s really good at his grooming appointments and absolutely lives for belly rubs. He’s trained to not approach when someone is eating, he patiently waits until the person is done to approach.

** BONDED pair - Need to stay together ** A good Samaritan found these two wandering around; took them in, did the needful to try to locate their owners to no avail and reached out to Sunny Saints to find the perfect home for them. They are dog friendly, potty trained, need work on leashing training, but again, completely bonded, they don't like to be out of sight of one another, even sleeping next to eachother. These girls are on the smaller size, and very sweet with people. Please consider opening your heart and home to these girls. They are currently being fostered in Hemet, CA Please fill out an adoption application by going to our website: www.sunnysaints.org/adoption-application.html

Story
I can't say enough good things about Buddy.  I wish I could keep him.  This poor boy was dumped off the side of a desolite highway in the mountains in the early morning hours along with his dog house.  A friend found him hiding in the bushes and brought him to our rescue.  When I first saw him, I thought "oh my, he's going to eat my dogs"...turns out that Buddy is one of the most sweetest dogs I've ever rescued.  He loves the other dogs and ESPECIALLY little puppies.  I have a bottle baby that he sleeps next to making sure no other dogs bother him.  He cleans him and loves on him.  I'm attaching a video of him along with two other little puppies we have.  Buddy is housetrained, crate trained and extremely obedient.  He also loves to cuddle next to me at night.  Buddy is now neutered, fully vaccinated (rabies included), received a dental and is microchipped.  Buddy's adoption fee is $450.  To fill out an application for Buddy, please visit www.greendogfoundation.org or for more information, please email us at greendogfoundation@gmail.comFebruary 2, 2025, 1:49 pm
