Dean is 8 months old. He is a love. And smart, too. He knows how to sit, lay down, and give paw on command. He is leash trained and house trained. Dean is GREAT with other dogs (big and small). He does not exhibit any food aggression. Dean loves toys - especially rope toys and tennis balls. Dean loves to go on walks but gets tired easily and enjoys a nice cuddle and relaxation time. Dean is good with kids. Contact us about meeting this incredible pup.

Story
Benny needs to be an only dog... a great match would be a loving "Saint Bernard savvy" adopter looking for a fluffy love bug & willing to devote time, continued training & leadership in exchange for limitless snuggles, love & devotion from Benny. Handsome 2-year-old Benny has a long list of very admirable qualities! He behaves perfectly at home, does not counter surf, sits & waits for his meals & is not a heavy drooler. A mellow, affectionate boy, Benny is content to stay quietly by your side if you work from home as the only dog. Although friendly with some dogs, Benny is sometimes "dog selective" & we feel he should be the only dog at his new home. Benny looks forward eagerly to his daily walks but won't require an intense amount of exercise. He rides well in a car & is not destructive. He sleeps through the night & is housebroken & neutered. If you are interested in Benny, please complete an adoption application on a laptop or desktop ( not a cell phone). https://www.sunnysaints.org/our-adoption-process.html

Story
Lord Buckingham "Buckey" was pulled from a Central CA shelter. He had ticks, was emaciated, and could hardly walk without looking like he would fall over. Even so, he would give tentative tail wags. After a few months in foster, not only is Buckey feeling better, but he is also a true gentleman with an amazing kind heart. He’s recovered from tick caused anemia, and emaciation. He has had broken teeth fixed, neutered, and gastropexy. He does have some hip & elbow dysplasia that will need to be monitored. Behaviorally, he loves to love and be loved. He is good with other dogs, but let’s be honest, he would rather be with humans. He doesn’t realize he is a dog; he loves it when you talk to him, and he will look straight into your eyes to let you know that he is paying attention. The drawback to wanting to be always with his person is that Buckey does have a little bit of anxiety when he can’t see you, but as soon as he knows you’re there, he’s totally fine. The more time you spend with him, the more special you will learn he is. We estimate that Buckey is 2-3 years old, housebroken, up to date on vaccinations, and currently being fostered in San Diego, California. Please consider adopting this wonderful, kindhearted boy.

Story
Brooklyn came to us with another St. Bernard, Bronx. They are a bonded pair & must be adopted together They both were missing hair from flea allergies, skinny, ear & other infections as well as having foxtails embedded in their feet. She has since been given a clean bill of health, gained weight (though she is on the petite size), has been spayed, fully vaccinated and now looking for her forever home. Her foster parents say she is "sweet as pie" she likes to cuddle, loves stuffed toys, rough housing and play time are her favorite things, but she does calm down. She is food motivated, and really enjoys head/ear and belly scratches. She also thinks she's a lap dog and anything dealing with water she's thinks is great. She is house broken, great with kids/people/other dogs, rides great in the car, hasn't shown any food or toy aggression, and is crate trained. She is currently being fostered in Southern California with Bronx. They are a bonded pair, and we would love for them to stay together. If you would like to learn more about Brooklyn, please fill out an adoption application at: https://www.sunnysaints.org/adoption-application.html

Story
BONDED PAIR - to be adopted with Brooklyn Bronx was a hot mess when he first became a Sunny Saint. He came to us with another St. Bernard, Brooklyn. They are a bonded pair. They both were missing hair from flea allergies, skinny, ear & other infections as well as having foxtails embedded in their feet. He has since been given a clean bill of health, gained weight, has been neutered, fully vaccinated and now looking for his forever home. His foster parents say he is a "cuddle bug to the max" loves being with people, rarely ever barks, does "happy yawns", gentle giant, mellow demeanor, loves a soft comfy pillow, blanket, bed, and that chest rubs are his FAVORITE thing on entire planet. He is house broken, great with kids/people/other dogs, rides great in the car, hasn't shown any food or toy aggression, and is crate trained. He is bonded with Brooklyn and we would LOVE for them be adopted together. He is currently being fostered in Southern California with Brooklyn. Story
Tiffany is an almost 4-year-old petite, spayed female, who is up to date on vaccinations. She is house trained, walks well on a leash, rides well in a car. She has a lot of energy, has been going on 5-mile hikes on the weekends with her foster family, and still has some energy to burn. Squirrels are fun to chase, and open front doors are interesting… because of this, she consistently needs to practice recall, which she currently does well with, but consistency will make her better! She does well with other dogs her size. Smaller dogs she can react to, and slow introductions are a must. She does have two foster dog sisters that she lives with, and occasionally will try to dominate, but she responds to corrections well. Once she knows where home is, she can be protective. So slow introductions to people entering the home is also a must. The perfect home for her would be someone who is experienced with dogs and reads body language well. She is currently being fostered in the San Pedro, California area. If you'd like to know more about her, or better yet, want to adopt her, please fill out an adoption application at: https://www.sunnysaints.org/adoption-application.html or email: info@sunnysaints.org
